If the display turns on when you push on the front panel, then you most likely have bad solder connections on the display tube. These will need to be re-soldered.

Sounds like you have a temperature sensor that went bad, look for the model number and find a manual for it or call the manufacture and exsplain your issue.

The first thing I'd look at is your owner's manual to insure the timer hasn't been set to "Sabbath" mode accidently. If that is the case you could experience a "no display" scenario.
The manual will also explain how to enter/exit the "Sabbath" mode.
In the event the timer itself is at fault ( i.e. the display transformer gone bad ) it will have to be replaced or (if an available option exist's for your timer) have your timer rebuilt.

Push the menu button and enter 1370 and push enter and the tv picture will appear on the screen. If it does not push the input button until the picture appears.
Hi, if it works with an external monitor it's more likely an LCD problem. When you push the power button, noting comes up on the main LCD screen? not even the Acer logo etc.?
Did you set your video card to use an external monitor and disabled the primary LCD? If so, you need to go to display settings, advanced and go to ATI Display and make sure that the notebook monitor is on.
have a good look at front to see reset??.press it once it comes back on unplug from the wall and & open it up and go to the part and give it a good clean with wd40, check the push pad for ware & tare dirt gathers and builds up
Press and hold the control lock button down until the light goes off. This is a child proof feature that may have come on if you leaned against it to long. After lock light goes off you can use the machine.
