What does treadmill error code E1 mean?

Precor Error 01, Memory, RAM, EEPROM Test Error Probable Cause This error message almost always indicate an upper PCA problem when they are consistently displayed. Failures causing this error message to be displayed are rare.
Corrective Action If the error message is consistently displayed when the unit is powered up, the upper PCA should be replaced. It is possible to see this message displayed intermittently due to external causes. If the units A.C. input significantly dips during the power up test sequence the test could fail resulting in this message being displayed. Treadmills operating on non-dedicated A.C. circuits may see this message displayed on an intermittent basis.

High definition audio controller This device cannot start. (Code 10)

If you run into the error "This device cannot start. Code 10 (often followed by a driver identifier, for example "This device cannot start. Code 10 in audio driver"), here is what it means.

The Windows error "This device cannot start. Code 10 or "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" is a hardware error that most commonly means that you have a bad, missing, or incompatible device driver. So, for example, "This device cannot start. Code 10 in audio driver" means that you have a bad or missing or incompatible driver for your sound card.

The technical explanation for this message, according to Microsoft, is this:

"If the device has a FailReasonString value in its hardware key, that string appears as the error message. The driver or enumerator puts this registry string value there. If there is no FailReasonString in the hardware key, you receive the following error message:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

What does that mean in plain English? It means that if the device which is throwing the error has added its own custom error text to your Windows system when the device was installed, then when the device encounters an error, you will see the custom error message specific to that device. But if it doesn't have its own custom error message, then Windows uses its own generic error message for devices, which is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

Microsoft recommends that when this happens, you click "Update Driver" to update the drivers for the device. You can also start the Windows troubleshooting wizard by going to the general properties tab of the device, and clicking on "Troubleshoot".

Before doing this, be sure that you have the correct and most up-to-date versions of the driver(s) for that device. You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the device, using the disk which came with it.

Finally, you can go to the website of the device's manufacturer, and check their downloads or support section for current, up-to-date drivers.
Go to Toshiba support site look for Toshiba Satellite A135 drivers, download the one for your windows 32 or 64 bit install, restart and off you go. Regards, Mike

After less than 3 years of use the stabilizer breaks down, making it impossible to take sharp pictures, and displaying the dreaded E:62:10 error message. This is a very well known problem that happens a lot and still today with Sony camera's. Thousands of users on the Internet have the same problem, read the website http://sony-e-62-10.atspace.cc/ or search E:62:10 on the Internet or on YouTube.

Error : 10-FC12-0002 comes up during Toshiba system rocovery what does it mean and how do i fix it?

I download this from the Toshiba support site:
While running a full system recovery from the Recovery Media, the installation may fail -- and display one of the error messages listed below. Possible causes of these error conditions are listed at right. Use this list as a troubleshooting guide -- not as an absolute list of causes, as there may be others.
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC10-1710" -- may be caused by a faulty hard drive.
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC12-0241" -- may be caused by a faulty hard drive or defective memory.
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC12-045D / 10-FC11-045D" -- may be caused by a faulty hard drive. *****
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC06-0002" -- may be caused by damaged recovery media or faulty hard drive.
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC12-0970" -- may be caused by defective memory.
*for this error 10-FC12-045D u nid to call 1-800-457-7777 toshiba advance technical support they will send it to depot or they will recommend ASP (Authorized Service Partner)

I suppose your recovery disks could be bad. You can get another set from Toshiba. I'm also concerned about the health of the hard drive. Did you need to run recovery because the system crashed, because it may not have been an operating sysem crash but rather a hard drive crash. Have the harddrive or whole laptop checked by a reoutable repair person or check my website: www.micromendllc.com
