If you don't have a remote for your TV, you can still change the input using the buttons on the TV itself. Here are the general steps:

1. Look for the "Input" or "Source" button on your TV. It may be labeled differently depending on the brand and model.
2. Press the "Input" or "Source" button on your TV repeatedly until you reach the input source you want to use. Each time you press the button, the TV should cycle through the available input sources.
3. Wait a few seconds after pressing the button to allow the TV to switch to the selected input.

If you're not sure which button to press or if this method doesn't work, refer to the user manual for your TV or contact the manufacturer for assistance.

Are all of the sub-menus besides the clock unavailable or just the ones related to OTA (RF) signals? If it's just the OTA menus that are missing, change the source/input to TV. On all of my TVs, the channel scan option and related functions are blocked if the current input is not TV.

Changing the input/source depends on the TV. First make sure that an antenna or cable source on an RF (RG-59/RG-60 cable) is connected to the set. Next look for a Source or Input button on the original remote. Press this button. On some models, you navigate through the menu by pressing the Input/Source button repeatedly and then press OK to change the input. On other sets, you navigate with the arrow keys and then press OK. Some TVs may switch to the new source after a few seconds without any button presses; they don't need the OK button to be pressed. On a universal remote, you may find an Input/Source button but the button may not work with some codes for the manufacturer. (This can be frustrating since the basic functions (power, channel up/down, volume up/down) work; try a different code.)

Some TVs will also have an Input/Source button on the TV. This will work like the button on the remote. Use the Select button for the OK button. A few TVs have the option inside the on-screen menu. Press Menu and then look for a source option in a Tools or Setup menu.

I hope this helps. I have never had a TV where only the Clock menu is available. If that is the case with your TV, I don't know of a solution.

Have you got any other remotes in the room that could be faulty or interfering with the WDTV.
Also:
try resetting via the side button with the unit on.
resetting to factory defaults via the internet menu.
unplugging the unit from power for some minutes (not seconds).
Do all the above one after the other before using the WDTV.
Sometimes this helps particularity after a firmware update.

Without knowing the exact model it would be hard to know the format. In your case I've looked at one manual and where the power button is there is also one button for volume, one for channel and one for menu and source together (4 buttons total). Each button rocks up and down, so the menu button should be up and on that same button source (input source) should be down. Once inside source navigate with Channel button.

input source button and what input did you stick the DVD player into was it HDMI1 port cause if it was you would change input source to HDMI1 from DTV input source.
on the tv you have the remote control it has a source button just left of the channel up and down + ch - buttons.

The TV channel settings Menu is usually only available when the Input is on TV. Look for a Source or Input button on the TV or the remote. Press this button and try to change to the TV source option.

Please add a comment with the make and model of the TV for additional information. (Unfortunately, many TVs don't let you change the source after pressing the Menu button and they don't always have a Source/Input button on the TV. On Most TVs I have messed with, Hit the input or source button muliple times to cycle throught the different inputs. Also make sure there is an active device on the input for the TV to recognize it. Good luck

1. Press INPUT. on remote

2. Press INPUT again to select the input

Each time INPUT is pressed, the input source

If the image does not come in clearly from the external
equipment connected to INPUT 1 or 2, you may need
