Your ice maker freezer fan may be iced up. Take the freezer bin out and look at the back of the freezer. If there is ice built up, you have to defrost it.

SOURCE: The ice maker appears to be working fine. However,

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.
Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
This can cause slow ice making if its too high even tho its freezing everything else at 25 degrees
The ref. temp should be about 33-35
The Freezer temp should be 0 to 10 Any thing below these temps is overkill and a waste of elect
The higher the number you turn it up to is the coldest
The icemaker is 110v
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects thenyou need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking or no water at icemaker or door either one, then the valve at the rear bottom of ref needs replacing
First I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if freezer control is turned WARMER, which makes the Ref. colder
Also if it is getting drinking water to the door but not to the icemaker (or vice versa) Then you need to replace
the water valve at the bottom rear of the fridge. It is a double valve and one side is not working
Also this might be a common Defrost problem, Ice
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

SOURCE: LSC27926ST REFRIG/freezer. Ice maker

The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn't take much to eventually block the fill tube.

Blue liquid leaking from ice cream attachment

I have been debating as to whether to buy one of these ice cream units but it appears it would be a big waste of money. I wonder how to track if Kitchenaid has made improvements to fix the flaw in the unit.

Ice maker is leaking

The ice maker fill valve is faulty. This valve located at the back of ice maker is not functioning properly,so water is leaking. Change the Water enter dump valve for the ice maker. It is leaking. It will not shut off & will cause this problem. It`s infrequently located in the rear of refigerator usely where water line enters the electrically back of refrigerator. In essence the valve and electric head can be bought at any Appliance Parts store. --------------------------- thank you.

there are 2 pipes going from the pump at the bottom of your unit ... 1 to the ice maker and the other to the filter for water.
make sure the pip for the ice make is tight in the connector of the valve ... let me know...

Water from ice tray is leaking onto ice and making ice cubes become melted together.

Most of the times the solenoid is leaking (electric valve that lets water to the ice maker when it calls for it) and when the ice maker calls for water it' ll overflood. To make sure this is the problem , shut of the ice maker and next day look inside of it , if is water , the solenoid is leaking and has to be replaced , if not the problem is with the ice maker and has to be repair or replaced.

Water leak from ice dispenser line

hi..
Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

For the ice maker problem, Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear. If it does, the problem is the ice maker and not the valve and line...

Ice maker is leaking water. Never has worked well takes for ever to spit out ice. Now ice is all over everything in freezer since leaking but will still make some ice. I have had for 2 years/.

Do you have a water softener? This puppy won't work right if you do. ice maker leaking water? Ok lets do the scenario. This fancy ice maker will fill the ice mold in stages according to resistance levels measured by the control inside the IM. I initially will judge resistance in the ice mold and then will call for water. It will again judge for full ice mold by checking resistance. The 3rd attempt will supposedly satisfy the requirements of the ice mold. If the water softener goes into reverse osmosis(that time or the month for water sofeners). Then electrolysis will occur in the ice maker and some different resistance readings from what is built in is read. Oops! overflow of ice maker and weird ice production. Solution. Remove ice maker from the loop. Water softening is good for the clothes but hell on the ice production.

Amana side by side ice dispenser leaking water

Take the ice maker out and look at the mold. If the coating is flaking off then that is where it is leaking. Will need to replace the ice maker.
