How do I download apps onto this device?

I have tried Google app store and GetJar and it keeps saying not enough memory. We just put an external 32 GB external micro sd card and are still having issues.

The default on most tablets is to install apps to internal storage so the SD card does no good by itself. You can go into Settings>Applications and change the location for each app to the SD card. Likewise anything else you put on a tablet, particularly photos and videos get stored in internal storage. If you have taken a lot of photos and videos they can fill up your storage quickly. You can change this in the Camera app by tapping the settings icon and changing the storage option to SD card. You will still need to actually move existing photos and videos to the SD card manually or copy them to external storage and delete them. I would also change the image and video resolution in Camera settings to 640x480. This is plenty good enough for pictures you just want to look at on the device or share online.

I have put 32 gb sd card into excelvan tablet for external storage and its not saving?

Unfortunately, most apps will not load onto an SD card. You'll find that some apps will, if a card is installed, place data there. Mostly the SD Cards are installed for use in storing photos and videos taken by the user with the tablet camera. Newer tablets and smartphones are coming with more and more internal RAM to alleviate the "full" issue, but in most cases, you wither have to give up the new app, or remove one to get another.

Hasn't saved anything to the memory card because his tablet won't allow him to .. It keeps saying not enough space it's a 8GB memory card

The internal memory cards of some Android devices are partitioned for app storage and installation. Some of them have partitions that are quite small such as one Gigabyte or smaller. The remainder of the storage cannot be used for apps.

If it keeps saying not enough memory space then chances are the app partition is full. The only way to free up some space is to uninstall some apps that are stored there but not being used. You can see which apps can be uninstalled in Settings > Apps and look at them one by one to see if an uninstall option is listed. Simply click *uninstall* to remove them from the app storage partition. This will free up some extra space for some new apps or for updates to older apps you still like and use.

Also some of the apps might show an option to move them to an external SD card (if your device has a slot for one and if an SD card in inserted therein). Do move any and all to the external SD card of you have that option as that will also free up that space from the internal SD card.

Where is the 500MB located at? You might have space on your external card but not on your device and apps are loaded onto the device.

Nobis 9 8 gb will not let me add games. says it has no more space

You might need to install an sd card they range from 2 to 32 gb and are available most anywhere. If there is already an sd card installed you might need to move everything to a larger sd card with your computer.

How to download gAMES AT PLAY STORE KEEP SAYING ERROR NO MEMORY BUT I HAVE SPACE ON THE Tablet

The Nobis NB09 Tablet simply has too little space partitioned for apps. It has only about 660 MB available. Just downloading and installing the updates for the native apps from the Store will result in the partition being filled to about 550 MB. This leaves only about 100 MB left for apps you want to add.
Click on *Settings* then click on *Storage* The top bar graph is your app partition. It will probably show as about 660 MB and the green bar is how full it is. It wouldn't surprise me if your green bar was at or near the right hand side meaning a full tank.
The second bar graph is your total built-in SD card memory. It's supposed to be 8 GB but it's shows about 5.5 GB. It looks like a lot of empty space but none of this can be used to download apps. From time to time to time there will be an app you run across that will be able to install on the external microSD card you can push into the slot on the back. And one or two of the native apps might be able to be moved to this external microSD card. But, you STILL have too little room to add extra apps.
Nobis simply didn't allocate enough space for app installation and you are stuck with the native apps plus maybe three large or six to eight smaller apps before the internal app space is FULL.
Just feel lucky that what little app memory you have still works. Mine went bad after less than two months and it remembers NOTHING. Every time I turn it off it boots into the set-up mode and retains no changes I made prior. It will not download a thing from the store because the app partition reads in the bar graph 0.00B available. IOW, bad memory. I am currently trying to get a response from the Midland website that took over Nobis and they claim they will reply within 48 hours. It's been two days and no reply so far. There is a phone number listed to call for a RMA (return merchandise authorization) I might have call it if they don't reply to the email.
Basically the NobisNBO9 is junk. Do a little Googling and many many people have problems such as it not booting up - I feel this is all to do with memory gone bad. Cheap Chinese memory - not reliable enough to last more than a month or two.

The tf card

The problem is not with the memory card, nor with the Tablet - it's with Android

Android's memory handling is not very clever, and it cannot simply recognise additional memory and start to use it simply because it's there.

It treats external memory, such as your card, completely differently from what come's "built in", and will not attempt to use it unless you tell it to do so, and how to do so.

The simplest way to ease the overuse of the internal memory overload is to transfer any music, photographs or video files from the internal memory onto the external card. For this you'll need to use an app known as a File Manager. I use one called "File Expert HD" but there are heaps of alternatives out there.

Of course, a useful first step always is to delete from your device all apps that you are no longer using- each of which chews up a slice of internal memory . If you are unsure how to do that, search for "delete unwanted Android apps" or similar on YouTube and you'll probably find video tutorials to show you how :o)

If you are reasonably experienced with moving files on a Windows PC, I think you'll quickly get the hang of moving them between the device and the card on your tablet using a file manager. If you are not, it's time to call on the assistance of a more knowledgeable friend or collegue to help you, or again search the topic on YouTube for video tutorials :o)

If you don't have many media etc.files, or large numbers of unused apps, but are still running out of memory, it mat be that you have cached files that are taking up too much room, and they can be safely deleted. In this case, and perhaps in any case, I recommend installing the app called "Clean Master". It will help you to remove all unwanted/unneeded cache etc files from your device, and it will assist you to move some of the apps you have from internal memory out onto the external card. It has the added bonus of incorporating a pretty effective anti-virus component as well.

On reflection, just running Clean Master" alone may be all that's required to get your device running better.

Both of the above apps are free and available from the Google Play Store.

Good luck :o)
