Carrier 8000 weathermaker 92000 btu

If it works with blower door off sounds like it's not getting enough return. What's the statics? Try an adjustable limit, I think they go to 210. Good Luck!!

Check for: - Dirty filter or restricted duct system. - Loose blower wheel.

- Inadequate combustion air supply (Flame Roll-out Switch or fuse link open).
- Open Flame Roll-out switch, or fuse link. Manual reset or replace.

Genie excell garage door open's sooo slow and then stops 3/4 of the way up. Wom't move when instructed to close DOWN. Blinks 7 times in green on indicator light- so Can I trust that it is the Limit Switch...

Use the pull cord and disconnect the opener from the door. Operate the opener and let the carrier slide back away from the door. Is the carrier moving smoothly when disconnected? Next, lift the door by hand from the bottom to the top. Is it moving smoothly? If not, lubricate the axles of all the rollers on both sides of the door. Check the cable pulleys at the top sides of the door channel, lubricate them as well. Are all cables in all the pulleys, there are 4. After checking those things, there is a "up force" and "down force" adjustment on the opener, try increasing the "up force" by turning the adjustment in the direction of MORE force.

My heater flame ignites but when blower starts the flame shuts off does any one know whats the problem

Sounds like a bad heat exchanger. The flame could be coming out, and throwing the Flame roll out limit switch. Could just be limit switches.

Carrier Furnace infinity 96.model 58MVP060-F-18114. Furnace heats

Sounds like it could be your fan limit switch. Part costs about 20 bucks and is fairly simple to replace. This limit switch is a safety that prevents your furnace from over heating. Usually when your t/s is satisfied the blower runs for a little longer after the burners have stopped, and the reason for that is the limit switch. The blower is supposed to cool this limit switch to a certain temp. and once it reaches this temp it shuts the blower off. Yours is stuck:(

Pressure, draft safeguard, or aux limit swtch did not close or re

The limit switch on the inducer has tripped. There are two wires that go to a small disk about the size of dime that has a small button in the center. Push this little button and you will feel a littl snap and the unit should fire up. Check all the manual reset limits as well. If the unit still won't start, jump the two wires by bypassing the limit switch. If it starts, then replace the switch. Bypassing the switch is only temporary and could lead to death if it is used as a permenant fix.

Pressure, draft safeguard, or aux limit swtch did not close or re

The limit switches are two wires that go to a small disk about the size of a dime. There should be a tiny button between the wires. Find all the limits and push them to reset them. The draft safeguard is the one that is located where the flu pipe leaves the unit. Sometimes the limits are stubborn and it's hard to push them in. If you can't get it reset then the limit will need to be replaced but it can be bypassed temporarily by jumping the two wire together. Do no do this as a permanent fix. It can cause death.
