Most probably the lifter has gone bad, but if it is a LOUD knocking sound, it is possible one of the crankshaft / connecting rod bearings has been damaged. Usually a bad valve gives more of a "clicking" sound.
A bad camshaft lobe will also cause a "knocking" sound usually with an engine with high mileage.

Most likely caused by a bad magnetron tube, but could be caused by a few other things too, like a bad control board, or open high-voltage diode. But the most likely cause is a bad magnetron tube.

a bad injector can cause a miss, you can listen to each injector with a stethoscope. It should make a rapid clicking sound. If it makes a deep thumping sound it is likely bad. also an intake leak can cause a miss at idle. also an EGR valve partially open can cause miss at idle. I always check cylinder compression when replacing plugs or coils for a miss. You need quality tech to check for above items.

have you been check the speaker if worn out. if ok you can hooked up a powered pc speaker at the audio output jack of the tv . now if you can get sound there the cause it could be bad amplifier circuit. but if you can not get sound there the cause would be bad sound processor in the main board.

lets verify first to narrow down where the problem came from. check first the on screen sound set up menu if set to off. if ok, tried to hooked up a powered pc speaker at the audio output jack of the tv. turn on the tv as will as the powered pc speaker, if you can get sound there the cause is bad amplifier circuit with in the main board. but if you can not get sound there the cause will be bad sound processor at the board.

Sounds like a bad hub/bearing, could also be a front axle issue though.

I have never heard in my almost 15 years as a mechanic of struts causing one pad to wear uneven, this more sounds like an issue of one of two things, bad caliper, or when you had your brakes replaced whoever did the job did not replace that pad.

There are several possible causes, varying in severity, that could be responsible:

• Lack of power steering fluid
• Bad or worn serpentine belt - would slip when turning causing a squeal and/or difficulty steering
• Bad wheel bearings - this would cause the wheel to wobble, and squeal on turns
• Bad ball joint(s)
• Bad steering box

About the only thing that would cause a screeching sound in the engine is bad crank bearings or a bad sprocket shaft bearing. A bad bearing in the rear wheel can screech as well. Just be sure where the screech is coming from.
