SOURCE: coffee grounds in the cup

since you said usually... I suspect the rubber seal that surrounds the top needle is not seating well...
you can verify this by making a beverage with a k-cup and, just before the water starts, add a little hand pressure to the K-cup arm pushing down a little bit... not hard...
If it consistently makes a good beverage, then we focus our attention to that piece of the brewer...
when the consistency of the water changes, it tells me to look for leaks or unusual percolation of water...

you can verify the K-cup holder is ok... but another way to simulate the hand pressure is to put a shim of some sorts under the lip of the k-cup... like the thickness of a couple sheets of paper under the rim... not the actual k-cup... but the k-cup holder... raising it up a smidge is the same as the slight hand pressure...

I would look to see if the rubber seal has come loose around the top needle....

SOURCE: the water isn't fully coming out when brewing a

Hello,

what you will have to do to solve this problem is that you will have to do self cleaning on the coffee maker

however, (not the bathroom one) is a handy item to use to clean coffee residue off the inside of a glass coffee carafe.

  • Does your pot have hard to reach areas? Use a wooden chopstick with a paper towel to get in there.
  • You can put ice cubes and a little water(enough so you can swirl it around) in pot and swirl them around, for harder stains put some table salt in pot and swirl it around for a few minutes and then rinse.
  • Put a glass marble in the water chamber to attract mineral deposits from hard water. Wash it once a week.
  • For tough stains, scrub the pot using a paper towel or clean (not soapy) dish towel. Rinse thoroughly.
  • To clean just the pot, do what many restaurants do. Put about two cups of ice, 1/4 cup of rock or table salt, and 1/4 cup of lemon juice (bottled or fresh is fine) and swirl around the pot. Measurements are not that important, just guesstimate. Be sure that the pot is cold before you try this, or you may break the glass pot.
  • Clean a brand new coffee pot prior to using it for the first time.
  • Never use the coffee pot to pour water into the reservoir. This will transfer oils and impurities from the pot, and eventually give the coffee a nasty taste. Instead, use a pitcher that is reserved for water only.
  • To keep the inside area around basket, filter, lid area clean (from coffee ground spatter) simply place a SECOND filter over the top of the grounds in the FIRST filter. Push second filter down so that spout will clear top of second filter (on many makes of coffee makers) as lid is closed. This keeps interior in pristine condition and doesn't take much time or expense.

SOURCE: Coffee maker when filling coffee

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

If your brewer is not brewing the full amount selected, it may be caused by the following:

* The exit needle is clogged by coffee grounds or cocoa mix. Please refer to the K-Cup Holder cleaning instructions.
* The brewer may need to be de-scaled. Please refer to the de-scaling instructions.
* The removable water reservoir was removed during brewing. Place the water reservoir back onto the brewer and perform a cleansing brew without a K-Cup.

If this does not work you can contact Keurig at 1-866-901-2739 or Keurig.com
You do have a 1 year warranty, and if you are out of warranty. They will give a discount on a new unit.

I tried to help you. Please help me and Rate/Vote on my response. We take the time to answer your question. take the time to rate us.Thanks and good luck

I need to know how to clean my coffee pot.

The pot or the whole coffee maker?

The pot you can wash with dish soap and warm water. Rise really good. If you want to clean the whole coffee maker you can fill your coffee pot with about 1/4 cup of vinger and the rest water run that through it and after that has run then run it 2 more times with just warm water to make sure all of the vinger is out.

Why have you not answered my question?

Because no one here is obliged to answer your question . Respondents choose which questions to answer and because you are a female you don't get special treatment but you seem to think you should.

So go to a feminist site where you will find the totally clueless and incompetent and ask them.

I am descaling my Keurig for the 2nd time, it fills 2 cups w/vinegar and stops and won' start again, tells me its ready, help

A. Prepare
Step 1: Make sure you have 48 ounces of white vinegar on hand. You will also need an empty sink and a ceramic mug (Do not use a paper cup.)
Step 2: Empty the water in the water reservoir
B. Fill and Clean
Step 1: Pour the vinegar into the water reservoir and fill it to the top edge of the clear viewing area.
Step 2: Place a ceramic cup in the drip tray and run a brew cycle. DO NOT USE A K-CUP...just press the large cup button. Pour the contents of the cup into the sink.
Step 3: Repeat the brew process until the water reservoir is empty, pouring the contents of the cup into the sink after each cycle. Remember to open and close the lid between each cycle.
Step 4: Now fill the reservoir with fresh water and let the brewer stand for 4-hours while it is still on.
C. Rinse
Step 1: Ensure the water reservoir is filled with fresh water.

Step 2: Place a ceramic cup on the drip tray and run a regular brew cycle. Once again, DO NOT USE A K-CUP...Pour the contents of the cup into the sink.

Step 3: Repeat the brew process until the water reservoir is empty.

Step 4: You may need to perform additional brew cycles if you notice any residual taste.

The coffemaker won't brew and showed a descale message. What does that mean?

Scale---or mineral deposits---form from the water you run through your Keurig coffee machine. If not cleaned regularly, the buildup can clog the lines in your machine and ruin the heating element. The manufacturer recommends you descale Keurig coffee makers once every six months for normal water conditions and once every three months if you live in an area with hard water
1.Unplug the coffee machine and remove the cup.

Coffee takes 10 minutes to fill cup and very noisy - Classic

Hi there,
The most common problem with these machines is scale. Using a good descaler to start with may help but may not always solve the problem. If your machine is noisy it is the pump which may need replacing. If you open the steam valve when making the coffee it will shift any air lock. Out with that you may have to remove the shower plate underneath where the coffee handle goes and give it a good clean. Also there is a safety valve inside the group head which may be clogged up. I am a domestic coffee machine engineer based in glasgow and have machines sent to me from all over the UK. It is hard to eally fix problems without actually seeing the machine as it could really be anything. Boilers are small so tend to fill with scale and ****. go to www.theespressoshop.co.uk if you require any more assistance.

Kind Regards

How does it make coffee?

You fill it to the line indicating how many cups of coffee you want to make. Then you add coffee to the brew basket, at least 1 full heaping teaspoon per cup. Put the basket on top of the stem and place the stem into the coffee maker. Put the lid on and plug it in. That's it. Don't plug it in without the lid, it's a percolator. It will squirt the water out the top of the stem and it flows down through the coffee grounds.
