How do I remove. Apps that I have double of. - Tablets & eReaders

Hello Vin, I'm the also one who are using Kindle fire device from last two years and i also remove these pre-installed apps from my device by the help of support and help team of kindle. but you can remove these apps without taking help from them, so you can try these points;

From the "Home" screen, open "Settings".

Choose "Apps & Games".

Select "Manage All Applications".

Swipe over to the right to show "All" apps.

Select the app you wish to remove, then select "Uninstall".

normally on iOS double click the home button and then X for the apps you want to close.

on Andriod, depending upon the version on your tablet, touch on square or three lines ; then X for the apps you want to close.

First, quit all running Apps by double clicking the home button. Then swipe each one upward to remove from memory.
You have a 16gb iPad which I would not own because it is very limited with its memory. Minimum for App users should be 32 or 64gb.
Once all Apps are out of memory then hold top on off button in for about 10-15 Seconds until iPad shows Apple logo. It's Restarting.
Try your App again.....
If this fails to fix the problem then dump the App and Re download from the App Store. You own it so it won't cost anything if your using the same Apple Username & ID.
Just hold down on the App until it wiggles then click the x in the corner of the icon.
Go to App Store & find App and re download.
Hopefully this should fix the problem.
On a 16gb iPad it would be wise to not allow to many Apps to stay in Memory. Just double click the home button once in a while to clean up

Double click and hold then drag to the screen you want is one way. The other way is to delete the app on the screen. Move to the screen you want it on and then select it again from your apps menu and drag onto the current screen

Try a reset (power + home) to unstick.
At worse, you can always download the apps again. You don't pay for that. Sometimes, when an app is not working properly, you need to discard it and download again. It's like rebooting a specific application on your computer.
Might be a good time to remove all the apps you have running. Double click the Home button and view the apps at the bottom of your screen. Tap each circled "x" to remove them.
Might be a good time to close some of the apps on your computer too. See how many have a little white dot on your dock. They all are taking up memory.

In general for ios6,7 hold your finger down on the icon until it starts to wiggle the tap it again and that will delete the program then double click on your home button and this will bring you home. Option #2. Go to apps store scroll to bottom of page and find mange apps, click on this and sign in and you will be able to choose which apps yo have installed. Good luck, Bret

Hi Anonymous, just press the home button or if you enable the assistive touch you can tap it and then tap home.


and to totally close the apps open, double tap the home key then tap the apps below which will be appearing after you double tap the home key then tap the "x" or just swipe up.

Double-tap the home button (on the front of the iPad). Flick all the apps up towards the top of the screen. This will close any apps that are running (or recording) in the background.

Double-click the Home button and you will see small windows of all the Apps that are currently open. Swipe upwards on one of these windows and it should close. You can continue this process on any other Apps that you wish to close.
