Hi my lg inverter v is blinking lights when I switched on and not heating. when inspected out side, found the unit was buried in snow. so, I tried to switch on after clearing all snow and the fan too mostly cleared of the snow. But still the same is the status. Just blinking the lights when I switched on. Could you please help me to trouble shoot

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. This sounds like a fault with the inverter or the compressor motor itself,

Reset the external breaker for the unit it should be next to the unit or in your power box.

Check and replace the backlight inverter board.

You need to bypass the on/off switch by jumping it, thereby taking the switch out of the circuit. If it works you have a bad switch. If it doesn't you have a power to the switch problem. Do you have a multimeter and a wiring diagram for this unit?

hi the blinking or flashing of stand by light indicator that means their is a error detected by processor which result to switch on/off the tv unit. now since you can not determined the error blinking light.what you need is to open the back cover then first look at the power supply if their is bulged capacitor which cause low voltage the tendency turn on/off the unit.replace with same rating much better to use panasonic brand capacitor you can found at www.digikey.com. now if the problem is not with in power supply try to disconnect the inverter board which supply the back light their might be a shorted transistor or the back light itself has problem which cause auto matic shut down. good luck hope it will help you.

Hello, I have an LG Inverter Air Conditioner - 24BTU and it is only turning on on the inside unit. When I look on the out side unit and I see a 'red light' on and no working.
Do you know what the problem could be?
