Which part do i replace on my Toshiba 47hl167 TV to repair my faulty HDMI ports?

I am assuming you have already tried leaving it unplugged for 15 minutes and then trying to restart it. Does it work in the TV mode? I.m not sure if there is a rest button on that model. If you go to Toshiba Support there might be more info.

You don't mention if this lcd is used from external source or just as a plain tv. I would suggest trying different input port if hdmi is used.

That's highly unlikely!!! More likely is that the cable is having problems or that someone mistakenly changed the picture i the TV from HDMI to regular reception. If the HDMI ports are changed to regular TV reception they don't see the HDMI ports only the regular video ports!

If you just bought the PS3 use your composite cables that came with the system. Turn the PS3 on and go to the video settings, set up video input to HDMI. After you've done that plug your HDMI back into your PS3 and try turning it on. If that works go back to video settings and change the resolution to 1080p. If that doesn't work make sure your T.V. is on the same input that the HDMI cable is plugged in. If it is and still doesn't work try switching to a different HDMI port. If switching to a different HDMI port doesn't work try a new HDMI cable. If the new HDMI cable doesn't work then there is a problem with the port on the PS3 which would require a repair.

The best thing to do is to call Toshiba at 1800-631-3811 and see if they could refer a Service Facility to you to check it out. I would guess that that Board that has the HDMI Port on it needs to be replaced but it is not a easy or simple job.

there are 3 ways you can hook up your pc to this tv. VGA, 15 pin D-Sub PC Input and DVI convert to HDMI. when using the DVI convert to HDMI, you will also need to hook up an analog audio to get sound since DVI only put out video output.

Have the input signal board replaced. Might try also replacing the digital board assembly.
