Why doesn't it start?

My treadmill started acting weird a while back. Sometimes it would come on and sometimes it wouldn't. Then one day it was off, but the fan above the control panel started whiring away like a jet about to take off...then it stopped altogether and hasn't come back on since. I just replaced the motor controller board hoping that would fix it, but when I put the safety key in place, nothing happens. I'd appreciate any thoughts on the matter. Hoping I don't just have an expensive paper weight at this point.

I have a Nordictrack C1500 that shuts off frequently in use. The belt doesn't necessarily have to be moving - the treadmill will just shut off and sometimes come back on.

S-10 Sometimes Starts, Mechanic Can't Find Problem

Yep, heres one. Start with pulling the crank fuse. The fuse is probably good, but you have a corrosion/contact issue. Putting it back will solve this issue. I would do all of them, as one will do it, more are sure to follow. Also do they relays. Next would be checking wires. Most times wires will loose connection at the plug, sometimes they will break right at the plug.

I have a 2004 Nissan Quest. First, the speakers started popping off, then radio wouldn't work anymore. We pulled the fuse under the hood and reinserted it. When it sparks radio will come back on....

if you are having radio issues where you have to mess with the fuse to make it work i would say it is the culprit for the battery draw, a lot of radios trigger the eject when power is reconnected for the memory wire, that is not a problem with the radio.
try unplugging the radio and see if that fixes the battery draw.

I have a similar problem to one I see listed earlier...I have trouble starting my '95 Mustang GT in the morning or after sitting for any length of time. Once it does start...it seems to work all...

pull off your starter and have it tested at your local auto parts store while cold... you may have a weak solenoid or some corrosion on the starter ring gear shaft.

sounds like a fuel pump or filter problem. replace filter first its cheaper than a fuel pump.my fuel filter on my 01 530 was under the driver side half way back along the bottom rail of the car.i had to remove the aero plastic with a plug puller that gave me acess to it.try and replace that first. if it doesn work its prob.fuel pump.
