Hi, I have a Neff American Side by side. It is fitted with the Bosch Style Ice Maker. New in 2008. K3970x6/05. Yesterday I went to get Ice. The Ogre was jammed, tryed twice. Ice froze into solid block. Up until then I hadn't known you could remove the tray. Defrosted tray, cleaned out and replaced. Cycling fine. The tray dispensed a solid block of ice cubes, filled with water and everything seemed fine. Problem now is machine cycles fine, but will not eject ice from the tray, just keeps filling and filling with water every cycle. First thought would be tray heater, have taken ice maker apart, everything looks fine. Problem is it would be a coincidence for heater to fail at the same time the bucket freezes solid? Thinking the Ogre jamming might have damaged main circuit board. Suppose I need to test tray heater for continuity?

i would recommend changing the water valves as they may be sticking or leaking now you can take the icemaker loose get a small baby bottle short the terminals to cycle water fill catch it with the bottle and see how much water it dumps should be about 4 ounces if the valve leaks will over fill the ice maker over a period of time say the valve is leaking a few drops at a time and the bail arm has the icemaker shut off because its touching ice in the bin but the water just keeps dripping down the fill tube till it runs over did you replace the whole icemaker or just the motor module

check your incoming water pressure, change the water filter recently? hollow ice cubes is a sign of low water pressure

Did you find icemaker solution? I have the same unit. Ice maker worked perfect. Then moved to new house, icemaker stopped working. One day it worked (old house), the next it stopped (new house)!

Hi caleycatz,
It sounds like you are in need of a motor module for your icemaker. This is the motor and gear that drives the icemaker prongs. The part number is
W10190935 The price is $77.59 and $6.00 shipping
I can have one of these at your door in 1-2 days, so let me know if you need one. We take Visa Mastercard and Discover. Or you can order from sears for the same price and wait 10 days.
Good luck to you and I really hope this will FixYa. Please take the time to rate me. Thanks

That means that the evaporator fan system that releases the the ice cubes is not working as it should.
The heater, or evaporator fan and heating system must be checked, and fan, or solenoid, or element must be replaced.
