SOURCE: There is a blinking vertical line at the space

Go to Control Panel
Accessibility Options
Screen (should be third tab)

Move Width bar towards "Thinner".

This works if you set the system cursor; your wordprocessing program might have another setting, usually under "Options", "Preferences" or "Setup".

Testimonial: "You hit the problem right on. We spent at least an hour with a tech guy from Dell and he ran us about the merry brush before it was taken care of."

Repair manual for a Blue Max model 08902 chainsaw. or who even makes Blue Max?

no problem
you can get fuel lines from e bay that are generic and fit just about any unit
if yours has 2 lines you get the lines as a duel lines system including the rubber grommet for the tank
it will have either a walbro or zama carby and those workshop manual are available as pdf versions
Chinese carbies are knock of those makes so the manuals are applicable
if it under 100 cc then run the 14" bar but if over run the longer bar
siting unused for a period of time , will give you starting problems as the diaphragms dry out and will not work properly
Who makes it --any one guess it there is no other identification available

Bought this lawn mower. It was sitting for two years and now it won't start.

first things first:
1) make sure that the kill for the magneto/coil is breaking contact( it is on the side of the mower, follow the cable down from the red bar)
2) gas to carburetor
3) spark to plug/s
4) gas to cylinder/s

pull plug and try starting mower, observe spark plug for spark and fuel coming out of cylinder/s. if spark no gas, then check to see if it getting to the carburetor, if it is then it is the float and seat in the carburetor and will need to be cleaned/replaced/rebuilt. Or just simple pour gas into the carburetor and try starting if it starts then it is the fuel line, carburetor. Hope this helped Tim

2001 pontiac montana driver side window went down fine but will not come back up. is there anyway to get it back up if i need something new?

Thanks for using FixYa and welcome to the site. Since the window is not coming back up, it is either off track or the track bar is broke. In order to find out, you will need to take off the door panel. There should be a few screws on the side of the panel that needs to come out. There may be foam or plastic in the door that also needs to come out. You have a little bar that the window sits on. It raises the window. Make sure the bar is there and make sure the window is sitting on the bar. If the bar is broke, it will need replaced. If not, just sit the window on the bar and it should go back up. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and thanks for choosing FixYa.

How do I refit chain

Start by removing the side cover held with one or two nuts ( make sure the chainbrake if fitted is de activated by pulling the hand guard fully back toward the rear of the saw until there is an audible click ) if the chain has de railed you need to check for damage to the drive links, file away any burs, or fit a new chain, screw the chain adjuster fully back, assemble the guide bar onto the bar bolts and push fully back toward the rear of the saw, loop the chain over the sprocket and into the guide bar rails with the cutter teeth on top of the bar facing away from the saw if the bar adjuster pawl is in the crankcase make sure it fits into the hole in the guide bar, assemble the side cover, if the adjuster pawl is in the cover make sure this lines up with the hole in the guide bar ( adjust the pawl screw if required ), assemble the bars nuts finger tight, now adjust the pawl screw so as the chain sits snuggley around the guide bar, pull the chain around the bar with a gloved hand to make sure it is sitting into the bar and sprocket correctly, lift the nose of the guide bar and tighten the bar nuts.

I put a chain on my 257 and tighten it and bolt on the cover. then i start it up and rev it for about 2-3 seconds. when i check the chain it is hanging about 1/2 in. below the bar. after sitting for about...

Sounds like the chain oiling system is plugged or has failed. Remove the bar and chain--start the engine and see if oil oozes from the engine side port where the bar fits up to. If ok, then check the small oil passages that run from the large holes in the drive end of the bar out to the chain groove on each edge--they commonly get plugged with sawdust and dirt. If there are small thin plates located on either side of the bar at the drive end, make sure that the one with a slot which couples oil feed from the engine to the bar is installed next to the engine. When adjusting the chain, make sure you can turn it by hand when everything is tightened. Be sure to oil the chain manually before running it the first time. Run the engine at speed and hold the bar tip near some cardboard for a couple of moments--it should throw off a thin line of oil. Hope this helps!

Bar oil leaking constantly. How do I fix it?

These saws are of the self oiling type there is no tip or bottle it consists of a tank and a channel the oil flows thru and on to the bar by gravity. There is a type of bar oil system on some saws that come with a button you push which In turn pumps oil onto the bar. But the poulan is not one of them. I have a 15 year old farm hand 20" bar and a two year old poulan wild thing 18" and both leave there oil in the case when sitting I beleive the fix would be drain it after use and clean up.

Can not get the beater bar seated back into position need diagram

hi,
make sure the belt isnt tangled and the brush bar has to be seated into foot plate correctly before soleplate will fit, check the ends of the brush bar and you will either have 2 x little brush stumps on the ends and in which case there will be slots in the footplate so that the brush sits in correctly or you will have a brushbar that has small grooves on the ends and to which sits in footplate.simply turn brushbar by hand until brushbar sits into foot plate correctly then attach soleplate by putting front end in 1st then lock it. if photos are required for furtehr help please email me at [email protected]
