All you really have to do is put in the ink color you want and run a bunch of prints. Going from a light to dark color like black is fast--like about 3000 prints. Black to light color is going to be a lot more prints. Best is to print something with heavy ink. the more ink you put out the fast it will change color.

Can a red drum for an RZ200 be converted to a black drum.

I am am currently not familiar with this model yet. But I have done such a procedure on other models already.
Please consider how to remove the unwanted colored ink. Do you want to dismantle and clean the whole drum mechanism? Or do it by printing several hundred (tousand) prints with high inkage? (You might discover some nice color effects.)
Some questions for you to make it clear: Does the black ink bottle fit in the color drum? Yes? Continue! Compare the PCB (unscrew the plastic housing) of a black drum with a color drum? Identical? Continue! Set DIP switches on PCB like the black drum. You are ready to use black ink!

In riso v 8000 can we use mono colour like black

Yes, it is possible to use only one print drum regardless if black or color. You choose freely between drum one or drum two. You are also free to insert each V8000 drum into the place you want.

I need to know what buttons to hold down on a riso 390U in order to get a different color ink to print in a drum

That's almost correct. Risos have two kinds of drums: black and color. The black drums have to stay black. If you want to print color you need to a) buy the appropriate color drum or, b) change the color in a color drum you already have. If you change from, say, blue to red, you're going to have purple for a little while. It's not a really efficient way to get things done.

I have a riso RP3100ui. I am looking to buy a used drum. Currently i use only black ink. I see used drums on ebay and alike but they are colored drums. Can I put a black in cartride in a rp3100 drum and...

No.. A color drum is a color drum. You can change any color drum and re-program it to be a different color but you can't use a black drum for anything else. The RP is a sophisticated machinge and even the card inside the black drum is different. I think it would give you an error at some point.. Besides the fact you'd go through about a half a tube of ink before you got the new color.. I've converted color drums as you say.. even after 5000 sheets of paper I still have the old color on the sides and stuff. My local service shop changed one of my drums to a different color for $175.. I thought it was a good deal after doing it myself once. Helluva mess. You want to use a color drum as black.. Might work..maybe.. but I've never tried it.. If there's a problem with your black drum... buy a color drum and strip it for parts (except the printed circuit board) and get your black drum working.

Drum stuck RISO RN2235ui

Hi,
assuming you have a RN machine
you should of removed the master on the drum by hand if it was not used for more than a couple of weeks, and wipe dry under the clamp.
To get the drum out, hinge up the top of the machine over the top of the drum there is another small door, it hinges up like the top of the machine.
At this point ensure that the drum is in the home position i.e the clamp of the drum is at 12:00 (on top). if not turn drum to that point by hand.
Then try the button again to release the drum. If that fails there is a small **** under the drum at the front door area. there is a catch there that holds in the drum which you can move to the side with a flat screw driver.
