Baffles broke in front loading washer

You will need the screws to hold them in and unfortunatly to do them you have to split the 2 drums apart unless you can see where the screws mount on the new baffles, but usually they screw in from the outer side of the inner drum. A lot of work for such a small part.

Replacement of a drum baffle, how to?

inside the door thier is 2 screws that hold the hinge to the front panel remove those and the 2 on the other side gently lift and pull the door off. pull the front panel off and look and find directly below the top a clip that holds down the top to the front panel remove those clips (one on each side) pivot up the top and rotate the drum by hand so that the baffle that needs to be replaced is on the top. replace baffle and reassamble in reverse order

Need to replace a baffle that broke off . MED9800TKo model baffle broke off insde on the dryer drum

Remove the top panel to access the outside of the drum where the baffle securing screws are found. Remove the three hex-head screws from the rear flange of the dryer's top cover the lift the rear of the cover and slide it back so the tabs clear the catches on the bracket and remove the cover from the unit.

Turn the drum until the baffle screws are on top then remove the screws and the baffles. Install the new baffles then the top cover. Make sure that the tabs slide under the bracket catches when you reinstall the top cover. The top cover screws have nylon flat washers on them. Be sure to use these screws when you reinstall the top cover.

I know that I am asking this for the third time; however, on the other two I forgot to notate the make and model. Again, after I opened the top of the dryer, there were no coins, it seems to be the screws...

If the screws holding the baffles just came out of the baffles or if the baffle broke they can be reinstalled. If the screws have ripped though the drum, the drum will need to be replaced. The screw part number is 33002973. The short baffle part number is 33001755. The tall baffle part number is 33002032. If you need the complete drum it is part number 33001889. Below are the instructions on how to replace the drum. Parts can be ordered from this link.

below is a link to the service manual for the info u need to take aprt or replace the dryer drum on a Maytag Neptune, I suggest u print it and then enlarge it if u can read it.

How do you clean out the baffles filled with lint in the Whirlpool Duet dryer?

To remove the dryer drum baffles on a Whirlpool Duet, follow these steps:

1. UNPLUG the dryer.

2. Remove the top panel of the appliance by removing the screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the dryer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then lift off.

3. Locate the bolts that hold the baffles in place on the outside perimeter of the drum. There should be 2 for each one.

4. Remove the screws for the baffle and it will come off.

HELPFUL HINTS:

1. Remove ONE baffle at a time so you can use the remaining baffles to turn the drum manually.

2. Drum rotates in a clockwise direction.

3. When removing or reinstalling each baffle, duct taping it place will keep it from flipping around when you get to the last bolt holding it in place. It will also keep it from dropping in the drum when removing, and help you hold it in place to reinstalling.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

One of the baffles broke off. I need to know how

Take the top of of the machine and rotate it until the baffle is at the top.  They usually have clips that hold the lid down, or screws under the head.  If the head is hinged and flips over the back the screws are under the head.  If not fine the clips, get a ling flathead and push it into the clips while prying up.  There are also two screws under the lint trap if it is on top.
