My GE washing machine is stuck on agiation mode.

My GE washing machine won't complete cycle – water fills up, and agitates, but will not progress to the next cycle. It will not drain. When I manually move the dial to drain the water, it makes a humming noise. It will spin and fill with more water.

I have a Amana front load washer . it will fill with water..wash for about a minute ,than beeps will not complete cycle

Best guess: replace the thermistor-the water temperature sensor. Try a cold water only wash and see if that works. If it does, then the thermistor is probably it.

Washing machine is filling and then stops - why?

Need more info. Is it filling to appropriate level and then stops and does nothing else? Is it not filling with enough water? Could be a lidcswitch problem. Could be a pressure switch. Could be a control problem.

Beko WMP652W washing machine will start cycle but get stuck at end of wash, doesnt go onto rinse or spin any help please?

see the next steps and use the common sense: God bless you
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

GE Spacemaker Washer/Dryer. Model # DDPI380GAMWH. Water won't stop filling. It continues to fill during all cycles. Fills during agitation. Agitates inproperly. It agitates in short pulses as water...

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. This sounds like a problem with the water level switch in the washer. It controls the amount of water entering the tub. It is probably defective. You may want tomake sure the switch is getting power first by testing the wires with a voltage meter.

It takes more than 3 hours to complete a cycle

Hello there:
When the cycle doesn't advance, or it takes a very long time to complete a cycle.
!st, check the timer to see if it is working properly
if not replace it '
next make sure that you are getting cold water and it is getting adequate pressure.:
here is how to check the timer .
if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.
It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.
Ok?
Hope this is very helpful for you

Have a ge washer, filss then does not progress to

May be a bad water level switch.
Open the control panel, with a full tub of water bump the water level switch with your hand. If it starts to agitate, replace the water level switch.

GE Top Load Washing Machine -- Agitator will not cycle

Agitator's don't spin on wash cycle.

I would suggest washing the clothes without soap until they rinse clear. If you have hard water, the soap will not easily rinse out of clothes, or off of you when you use soap to wash or shower.

Reduce the amount of soap you use in each wash if this is the case. It sounds like your washing machine is working right.
