SOURCE: Guitar hero world tour, Ps3, when the wireless

It seems that the recent PS3 Firmware update (2.80) reassigns your controllers. In order to fix this (I just did it 20 minutes ago and all is fine) is:
Go to the XMB "Settings" Menu.
Open "Accessory Settings"
Using the controller you want to reassign, open "Reassign Controllers"
Scroll to the number you want that controller to be (1,2,3 or 4)
You are good to go!

Have it serviced if its new it is still under warranty.

are you in "A" _ 440? digital tuners are set in a440 as a default. if your playing chords and are down half a step. Or improperly tuned (ie: your intonation is out?) I assume you are playing guitar? then it would have trouble picking up proper signal. - if this answer doesnt help. try more specifics. what are you playing ? what display are you referencing. etc. Good luck!!

My wii Guitar Hero controller seems to strum of its own accord in the middle of a song... is this a sensitivity issue, and if so any ideas on how to fix it?

You may need to dis-assemble the guitar to ensure that no damage has occoured to the strum bar internally as sometimes when this gets over used it has a habit to randomly strum on its own. Good Luck.

Wont strum down

Remove the strummer by pullling upwards and outwards gently until you here a faint click. Either re-insert and try again or replace the strummer. Would probs cost about £10.

Nintendo Guitar only works consistantly when I strum up. Whe i strum down it seems to miss speratically. Only plays one of every 3-5 notes. This is the second guitar i have returned to Wal-Mart...WTF?

The guitar that were made for the first rock band have faulty strum bars that collapse on the inside, yes, even the guitars that were sold separately have this problem, send it in to harmonix for free, they will give you a new one, free of charge.

Strum bar does not work

na man don't listen to that guy i had the same problem and all i did was take of the face plate and blow in the hole near the strummer. you can also get a peice of paper and slide it in there to get i working. hope this helps.

i have had this problem and think i can fix it.

1. remove the faceplate

2. there are some hole that you will see, blow in all of them.

3. push the strum bar down and blow along it.

4. push the strum bar up and blow along it.

5. get an ear stick and WD 40, spray a bit on the ear stick and wipe the sides of the strum bar.

6. test it.

this helped me fix my problems with the yellow and blue buttons giving out. now my only problems left is that the strum bar wont strum down. only up. but at least the yellow and blue seem to be working again! ( 97% on cult of personality on hard with strumming only up. so im sure the buttons are fixed.)
