Make sure it is fully charged. You can boot it by pressing and holding the on button for 40 seconds. Then try turning it on. Good luck!

My Kindle battery will not take a charge?

You need to turn the unit on to see the model or serial number, we would try another charger letting it charge for a hour to see if it would accept a charge or turn on.
