Looks like you might have issues with your screen it self the lights and all internal issues. You might have to take into a repair shop to get it done, a fuse might have been blown up. If you have warranty try to take it in and get it fixed.
Sounds like a Power Supply problem. This problem will probably require a live, in-person tech, especially if you have no hands-on experience. Do you know anyone with soldering experience or other electronics hands-on experience? If so, I could communicate a process to them. Tx, Petra
If its two weeks old why are you here? Take it back to point of purchase and either have it fixed or replaced or get a refund.....
From the brand you likely are in UK but here all sets come with some kind of warranty==the problem sounds like a power supply issue but if you have a warranty and open the set it will void that warranty.
