Go to the Logitech website and perform a search on "CE0560"; you should get drivers and other support for your mouse.

I have a logitech ce0560 wireless mouse. and dont know how to turn it on and off. Thanks

I can't find that model on the logitech's site.

Anyway, I used to own a cordless mouse too (not logitech). Mine has a receiver that has to be connected to the usb port to work. Also, the unit requires to be placed near the receiver for better signal; so I choose the front panel usb.

Both the receiver and the mouse have a tiny button that should be pressed at the same time or consecutively so that they could "see each other". The button is located at the bottom of the unit, almost near the lens.

And it also requires batteries.

Thank you for using fixya. Have a nice day! ^_^

My (2005) wireless ce0560 mouse is jumpy and slow to work, my wireless keyboard is great. both run on a desktop usb send/receive unit. what mouse puchased today would work on same usb receiver as keyboard.

Does the mouse act the same whether or not you:
  • replace or recharge its batteries
  • clean the optics
  • use a mousing surface with good optical diversity, e.g. magazine cover or laminated pencil board as opposed to a mirror or mica sheet?

The first step in troubleshooting is unplugging the mouse receiver unit from USB and reinstalling the mouse.

If you still get this kind of problem, then either Windows has a problem related to this device managment, or the mouse is faulty.

Try reinstalling the drivers first, or let us know if you have reinstalled the driver software already.

There is a small rectangular door on the underside. You will probably need a small pencil knife or a thin coin to open it.

See page 2.
It looks like a dime might be able to pry it open or else it might be one that slides either up or down.
