How do I select AV input

Older tv sets tend to have at least one button on the remote to select the AV input but more modern sets the function is automatic - switching to AV when a signal is received via the scart socket, etc.

Where do i find thr AV setting on my tv set?

If you mean changing the input source to AV, it depends on the brand and model. Some units have an Input or Source button on the front panel (or side panel) of the TV and on the original remote. Other models only have this button on the remote.

If you are interested in a replacement remote for a unit that only has the Input button on the remote, try a searching for the model on remotes.com . Alternatively, look for a universal remote that is newer than the TV with an Input or Source button. Then try all the codes for the brand until you find the one that makes all of the features of the remote work.

If you are interested in the signal information (resolution, for example) of the content on the AV source, try the Info button on the remote (if available). To adjust the setting enter the Menu (either from the button on the remote or the TV panel (if available) and look for the Picture submenu.

I hope this helps. If you provide the make and model of the TV, I may be able to provide more information.

Trying to get to av input on tv and i dont have

Do you have a physical source button on the TV or try going through your menus to see where to switch input sources. I'm sure you can do this with the buttons that are on the Bezel of the TV.

I have just purchased a home cinema system: SONY 46" LCD, KEF3005 SPKS, SONY STRDA2400ES RCVR, SONY S55O BLURAY. ALSO A VIRGIN HD+ BOX. CAN YOU ADVISE BEST WAY TO CONNECT THIS ALL TOGETHER FOR BEST...

connect all source devices to the Sony LCD tv inputs. and connect the audio output from the tv to the aux input or any one input of the audio reciever. This way you can just leave the av reciever on and control all the input switching with te tv remote. Avoid connecting all the av sources to the reciever and the tv as a monitor from the video out of the av reciever. Just use the av reciever to reproduce the desired audio and do all the input switching with the tv remote. This will simplify the operation an lessen the chance of someone changing the audio settings of the av reciever.

How do u turn to scart channel without a remote

Not knowing what model of TV you have, the most common ways are either by using the Source button then scroll to AV1 input or if you have a Menu button there may be a sub-menu for Input, again select AV1 (depending on which AV connector you are linked you maight have to select AV2). If you have a DVD or VCR connected to the AV source, then when pressing play the DVD/Tape should automatically switch over to AV.
