My camera d580

First, make sure the batteries are fresh and installed correctly. Turn on the camera, if you get an opening screen, your camera should be OK. Press the menu button and navigate to screen options where you should be able to turn on the screen to take pictures.

If there is no opening screen when you turn on the camera (and you are sure the batteries are good and in properly), then try to take some pictures without the screen. If the camera takes good pictures, then the screen is dead. You can continu to take pictures with it in this condition. I do not think they are worth fixing, though.

If the camera does not take good pictures or no pictures then the camera has failed or dead. Your best solution is to replace the camera with a newer, better one, More pixels, greater optical zoom, quicker start time and so on.

No picture on lcd screen only when taking pictures

Did you accidentally press the DISP or DISPLAY button on back (it turns the screen off to save batteries). If so, press this button again to turn your LCD screen back on.

KODAK eASYSHARE c530 BLACK SCREEN DOES NOT TAKE PICTURE

You may still be able to take pictures with your black screened Kodak camera. This problem occurs in the line of Kodak EasyShare digital camera models.

When you turn on your Kodak EasyShare digital camera, turn off the LiveView function. Take a picture using the small-windowed viewfinder (this is not the LCD screen). Also, try zooming in and out.

After taking a picture, review the picture to see if the picture has been taken. Then turn on LiveView and occasionally the LCD screen should no longer be showing a black screen.

Dark screen/picture.

This 30" flat screen TV set may have a problem in the high voltage circuit of the TV set. You may be able to adjust this by taking off the back of the TV set. Look for the block where the large red wire runs up to the top of the picture tube. On this block will be two controls. one will say screen and one will say focus. Try and slowly turn the control that says screen or S on it clockwise and see if you can make the picture brighter. Turn up the control till you just start to see faint lines in the picture, then back the control down till the lines go away. If the picture does not come up when you turn this up, and all you get is a blank screen, you will need to have this set repaired by a qualified repair person. Good Luck
