Here are some fixes:
1. System Settings ' Language and input ' Speech ' Text-to-speech output and turned off "Driving Mode".
2. settings > accessibility > installation of webscripts (turn it off)
3. Setting >Accessibility >Enhance web Accessibility put if on "do not allow"
Shift+Sym – start and to stop TTS (Text To Speech or Read To Me in
Kindle 2). You have to keep Shift pressed down and then press Sym.
While TTS (Text To Speech or Read To Me in Kindle 2) is on – Use
Shift button to Pause or Resume it. Note: this might be Space
(spacebar).
