SOURCE: fisher and paykel gw509 not draining, pump is clear

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

SOURCE: fisher and paykel washing machine will not spin

Most likely something stuck in the pump, you need to look underneath to get to it, the pump turns anti clockwise to remove it.

SOURCE: Fisher and Paykel intuitive eco - I have too many suds -tried all

This may sound silly but have you checked your washing powder? Here in Australia (not sure where you are) most detergent manufactures are concentrating their powdered detergents but haven't made much fuss on the packaging - just giving you smaller scoops.
I hope for your sake it is something as simple as that.

Fisher and paykel intuitive wont spin or drain and hums buzzes and says code 62 needs service please help

Hi Tracy,
there are two reasons for a code 62, the first is the drain pump unit, it will not spin with water inside, the pumps likely to be blocked otherwise it will pump, stop, pump or pulsates.

Its been a while since I last logged on to here, have earlier post to describe how to check and remove the pump.
Seeing the machine has gone this far into the cycle then the second component the controllers has to be fine..

Good luck

Hi - this is a strange one - I could be wrong here but I think that theres two likely possibilities for you - first is the motor controller board could be faulty - it may have a short on the switch ic for the drain pump - the other is there maybe an air lock or blockage to the pressure tube - remove the display panel to access the clear tube - unclip it & blow into towards the bowl to see if theres a blockage.

You say as soon as the start switch is pushed the pump runs continously? or does it come on as soon as the power button is pushed? either way I think the controller maybe faulty - haven't come across aything like this one before...

I've got Fisher and Paykel Excellence Top loader 7.5 My problem is, it won't unload or drain water. What do i have to do?

Hi, The washer wont unload or drain water until the drain pump is working. Get the pump off and look for debris. To remove the pump you unlock the tab and twist the pump a hair. The pump is on the bottom of tub.

Fisher & Paykel Intuitive Eco switching itself off during cycle.

Could be a bad drain pump or controller or rotor position sensor. You will need a Tech to take a look. Unfortunately with these machines there can be many reasons for a failure. Call F/P to get a certified technician out there.
