Memory card after formatting, say check card (samsung camera)

Probably, especially if your card is a 4GB or larger SDHC card, then it's definitely the wrong card. The older Digimax S800 camera can only use standard SD cards (2GB or less). Fortunately, these are very inexpensive these days, and may be found on Amazon if your local store no longer carries them. For others reading this experiencing similar problems, please see this article.

DX6440 internal memory. cord misplaced that came

I understand your quarry as you misplaced the U-4 USB cord used for connecting the camera with the computer.

KODAK no longer carries this item for sales. I suggest that you use a card reader instead. A card reader can be purchased in any store carrying technical equipment.

My USB cord will no longer plug into my camera.

Buy a card reader and stop using the USB port. Card readers are much faster to download pictures into your computer. This will only work with a memory card in the camera and not internal memory. All these items today are vey inexpensive to purchase.

Simple really you need to buy a new memory card that is compatible with your HP photosmart. The card you have is probably designed for toshiba products specifically.
