I bought a 4GB PNY Micro SD HC card for my e250, which will not show up on my computer. Is this the right card for the e250?

Sandisk Sansa e200 models will NOT detect cards over 2GB capacity. There is a firmware known as rockbox that will allow up to 32GB of space but its only recomended if you are familiar with transfering and installing files to your player. Rockbox firmware can be found at http://www.rockbox.org/ by just selecting your model.

Hi,

The problem might be that the card is password protected, i recommend you switch it to the unlocked position and then use a computer to format the memory card and do a full format not the quick format.

hope this helped.

PNY optima SD HC 4GB card will not read

Try putting a tiny piece of scotch tape over the lock slider. See if that works.

I have a 4gb micro sd card and it says that it only has a total of 146k of space on the disk. It won't let me copy anything on it. And i haven't placed anything on it-so i don't know why its out of space.

Is it a 4Gb micro sdHC? The 4 GB and above are all HC (High Capacity), and can only be read by HC reading devices. If you can see them at all, they will report some foolish size which yours is doing. They use a different protocal so they can not be read by a reader which is not HC. So what you need to do is get a HC capable reader.

Sansa c240 and a 4 GB Micro SD HC card.

Sansa C240 can only read SD cards that are NOT SDHC - that means it can only read up to a 2gb Micros SD card.

Does not read my PNY MICRO SD card to down load my lime wire musi

You may have to format the disk. Right click my computer and click manage. Then click Disk Management and in the right hand side select the 4Gb memory (it will show up as 3. something Gb). and click format (provided there is nothing on it). Format as FAT or FAT32 and when it's done, it should show up in my computer as a disk.
