If it is used the mechanism is probably clogged with wood pulp and not allowing the release. Use shop air to clean debris off the machine, don't forget to occasionally use 4 n1 oil to lubricate slide pins, plus it aids in cleaning.

How to lift saw blade. My saw is many your old and bought for another. I now need to use it but do not know how to lift cutting blade

The bed moves down so that less blade shows on a skill saw. The locking lever is usually between the blade guard and the handle. Look for a lever and pull it up to unlock, then move the bed down to expose less blade, then push the lever down to lock the bed in place. Please supply a picture of the saw you are using.

Why is my flymo 360 eg not collecting the grass

If you have changed blades or have low lift blades this will be the problem. For good grass collection you should have high lift blades

I cannot remove the flat mixing blade, after mixing cake. It has never happened before, just doesn't move up down or sideways! it seems completely locked.

The blade sounds like it's jammed somehow perhaps simply with some food matter.
Ensure the mixer is not plugged in then try removing the bowl, locking the mixer in the down position and pushing up hard on the blade to try and dislodge it. If it comes free and lifts up then try wiggling and rotating it normally off the mount.
Sometimes with use the attachments can become slightly warped requiring more force to lift them before rotating off the mount.
I once used my own Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hook attachment to make a whole wheat bread dough. When I was done the hook was a bit bent from the hearty dough. There was also some flour in the mount causing it to jam. Removing the hook attachment proved difficult but not imposable.
Good luck.

I have a Bosch 1587 avs. I am trying to change the blade. I have followed the instructions as per Manual. In the last part I am supposed to hear a click to lock the blade in to position while rotating the...

First unplug tool and lift up on the knob and loosen the spindle lock, insert blade and push up slightly while doing so and twist to align blade with the roller, while lifting up tighten the knob until you hear it click and the blade should be tight and stay in place. Let me know if you need more assistance.

I have a DW938 and I cannot get the blade to lock into place seems like there is no lock at all.

Hi, If you look at the end where the blade goes in, on the right hand side (as holding it for use in your hands) you should see a yellow lever. First take out the battery, each and every time you change the blade. Lift up the lever, wear some gloves to protect your hand and pull the plade straight out. Push in the new blade with the teeth pointing down, and push the yellow lever down. You can replace the battery once you have completed the above. Hope that was of help to you.

I have john deer sabre 18 horse i have a snow blade but cant get on right

Hello,

My name is Dane and I'll try to help you with your problem. I have given you the basic instructions here for mounting most john deere snow blades.

Here is a link to the parts diagram for the blade too.

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Sabre-john-deere-Parts/Riding-mower-tractor-Parts/Model-15538G/1828/1509200/10060752/00034

You need to remove the mower deck from the machine, and you may have to remove the front bumper as well.

First, install the mounting brackets on the tractor. Align the holes in each mounting bracket with the holes in the tractor frame. Install using the kit that comes with the mounting bracket. Don't tighten this yet.

Next you should install the pivot support. Insert the pins on the right and left hitch plates into the notches on the mounting brackets. Install the pins and tighten the screws on those mounting brackets now.

Next you should Install the blade. Align the holes in the pivot support with the second holes from the end of the push channel assembly. Insert the channel pin and washer and secure with the spring locking pin.

Install the lift handle. Slide the lift handle rod into the end hole in the push channel assembly. Insert the lift link pin in the pivot support bracket into the lift handle rod. Add the washers and locking pin.

Now, Iistall the blade pivot rod. Either end of the blade pivot rod goes through the blade pivot shaft. The other end goes through the lift handle tube. Secure both ends with locking pins.

Lubricate the lift handle rods and pivot points.

Install the rear tire chains and wheel weights.

I hope I've helped. If you found this information useful, please leave feedback as deserved. Thanks! Dane

Motor not speeding up

It sounds like your centrifical clutch is worn in your chopper. Order the new clutch and install and I think you should be ok. The clutch seems to maybe get warmer and sticks and then locks into place. If that doesn't help, check the pitch of your blades.
