I need a repair disk or valid software download for windows vista ultimate. My computer got infected with malware. Long story short, this is my family room P.C (Public computer) that my Kids (Teens) & other house guests use, it crashed I fixed the problem most of the time with need of the vista DVD. I now only buy enterprise software so I have multiple keys for upgrading all my family's computers. I have the vista box & install guide but the main Disk is missing. Microsoft will soon stop supporting vista so I was going to upgrade this P.C to windows 7. I paid for the right to download it from Microsoft but the guide says to repair my copy first so it can fix missing driver & system files. System restore will not work. I bought Vista & my paperwork & Key is genuine. The only reason this O.S (vista) is still working is the aftermarket software I installed to keep it running the best it can. The windows 7 install guides also says to uninstall or back up all my needed software, media files & documents
If you have everything down load it from microsoft site onto a usb stick then burn it onto a disc
or contact microsoft and as for another disc giving all of the details so that they can check their records
I tried microsoft.com for the download, but it’s not offered from them as far as I can tell just a lot info. Seen the windows 7 that’s why I bought it instead of just buying a new P.C, they are pushing windows 10 now. I guess I can call them back, I was on the phone with Tec support & security specialist once I found out my home networks was compromised. Apparently My teenage sons downloading Mods for their Xbox.
