Its hard to retrieve a deleted email.You sould have put it in the folder or something.There is a deleted tab in the email. If you deleted it from there too,
then you cant retrieve it. But like beside inbox and sent message and
draft, there's one that says deleted and spam. click on deleted.
If that doesnt work,try writing to Yahoo if the mail is that important.

its very likely that someone got into your acount..log in and immediately change the password..never use the "save log in details" on a public system and always log out completely and delete the history of your browsing if u use a public system..regards

Setup for how long mail stays in spam/bulk folders:
Click the bulk folder -> click "edit setting" at the top -> choose how many days you want messages to stay in the folder before deletion
