You need to fully charge the tablet and THEN do a factory reset. The hardest part is waiting.

Follow the steps provided below to perform a Hard Reset on your iRULU Android Tablet:

1. Turn your iRULU tablet off.
2. Press and hold the correct key combinationto boot your Android tablet into Recovery Mode.combinations, which include:

• Home button + Volume Down button + Power button
• Power button + Volume Down button
• Power button + Home button + Volume Up button
• Power button + Volume Up button
• Power button + Volume Up button + Volume Down button
• Power button + Volume Up button
• Power button + Home button

1. Release the power buttons once your screen turns on, and the device vibrates. Keep holding the other buttons for 10 seconds.
2. Your Tablet should now boot into Recovery Mode.
3. Scroll down to the 'Factory Reset' option using the volume down key.
4. Select the 'Factory reset' option by pressing the power button.
5. Now your Tablet will start the hard resetting process.

Once the process begins DO NOT press any buttons and don't try to turn the device off.
Your tablet should now be reset.

You can do a usually do a factory reset by turning off the tablet holding down the power and volume up button and it should take you to a menu that you can factory reset your tablet. Use the volume up and down buttons to scroll up or down on the menu, and power to select. Hope this helps you

This may not be practical, given the cost of the phone compared to the cost of repair. These phones do have a warranty. That tends to mean they have at least a 3rd party service department. If you found out where it is services, you might be able to directly contact them for a part, but it is not very likely. And installation of parts to a phone is a more involved process than it might appear. Newegg sells these phones currently.

You do not say what type of password was set and if you have forgotten it or just want to reset from a known password..
If you just want to change your gmail login password
- Go to google.com/accounts on the tablet browser
- Sign in
- "Change Password"
- Go back to the Home Screen on the tablet
- Open the GMail app, clicked on Menu, then Refresh -- you will get a sync error
- Wait for a notification to re-enter your password (a triangle with an exclamation point in the tablet notificaiton bar and/or something in the gmail screen)
- Enter the new password

This simple solution sometimes works:
Turn it off.
Turn back on.
When you get the warning triangle in the notification bar, open the notification.
You will then get a login screen.
Input your new password.

Pattern Lock- Incorrectly enter pattern 5 times (4 or more points each time) . Pop up message will appear Click Next and you will be prompted for goole a/c details or security for pattern lock.
tap forgotten pattern and on next screen enter goole account details. Then next screen allows you to choose a new screen lock option.

The only other solution is a hard reset which is only as a last resort. You need to access Androids Recovery mode. Check your manual. Most devices it is power off then power up holding volume + and power buttons.
Once in this mode use power down button to highlight "wipedata/factory reset option, then use power button to select it.
Vol - button to to scroll and select yes delete all user data option with power button. When device reset select option to reboot now and the device will turn on unlocked but you will have lost your personal data.

Face unlock - you were asked to provide a pattern or PIN backup when you set it. Just bypass and enter PIN or pattern.

Sometime we can forget about the password or screen lock pattern. In this case we just have to find Forget Password / Pattern button, the SONY XPERIA SP (C5302/M35H) & (C5303/C5306 LTE) will ask for Google account inside this smartphone. I think you'll have to hard reset your device, in order to get rid of such a condition. Your user manual describes how to perform a hard reset, but here are the instructions, anyway: slide your device open, to landscape position.Then, press and hold both the action button and the reset pin (with the stylus pen) for a couple of seconds. Release the reset pin first, then the Action key.

I'm afraid you'll have to hard reset your device to get rid of the password request screen. Hope you have a recent backup of your personal data, to be restored afterwards, because a hard reset procedure sets your device to its factory defaults. Anyway, here it goes: - If your device is not already in stand-by, press the power button to turn it off; - Press and hold both left and right buttons on the front of the device (the ones right under the screen); - Whilst keeping holding the keys, briefly press the power button to turn the device on; - Release the keys only after a blue screen asking for confirmation comes up; - Slide the qwerty keyboard and press 'r' (for reset).
