Why does my processor type change post Formatting ?

Hi all, I have a Windows 7 pc 64 bit. When I formatted and installed Windows again, and later checked the system information, it showed me 32 bit as the processor. Why did this happen ? Has it really reduced the processor type ? Any drivers which I install now should be 32 bit or 64 bit ? Will the performance of my PC reduce too ? Please suggest urgently.

Can I replace windows 10 with windows 7

Never ever wipe your system. Anyone who tells you to format does not know anything about computers. Formatting is the last resort and in my years of experience never needs to be done to downgrade your operating system.

To access this, open the Start menu and select Settings. Click the "Update & security" icon and select "Recovery." You should see a "Go back to Windows 7" or "Go back to Windows 8.1" option. Click the Get started button to get rid of your Windows 10 install and restore your previous Windows install.

How to uppdate from Windows Xp into Windows7 I

Well, it depends on your computer specification because every operating system has it own hardware requirements. Before upgrading to windows 7 make it sure your motherboard support the windows 7 operating system. In your case your motherboard supported by the windows 7 so when upgrading rather formatting your computer you must have the windows 7 installer. Then follow this video tutorial on how to setup your computer to windows 7. Before formatting you must have to back up all your data or files saved on your hard drive. Have a nice day

I recently updated to windows 7 from vista. im having loads of problems with my intel chipset with integrated graphics...i got the windows 7 drivers for it already and im still having problems idk if its...

You'll need to access the computer manufacturer's support site to find the appropriate 64-bit driver for this chipset. If you post the make/model of computer I can probably assist with that.

Hope that's helpful.

I want to install win7premium32-bit to my pc

It requires at least 2 gb ram and c2 duo or higher. Be sure you have that min with your pc. next you need windows cd. insert it int drive and press F3 or any key to boot with cd. It's then very simple just do as pc says. In format using type choose NTFS next just proceed as directed and you are done.

How to check weather computer will support 64 bit

Open the "System Properties" window

If your Start menu is configured for Classic Start menu, right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop, and click Properties.

If your Start menu is the Windows default Start menu, click the Start button, then right-click the My Computer icon in your Start menu, and click Properties.

Click the Advanced tab.

Click Environment Variables.

In the "System variables" list at the bottom of the Environment Variables window, look for a variable called "PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE". If your PC has a 32-bit processor, this variable will have a value of "x86". If it has a 64-bit processor this variable will have a value of "x64".

Can i install a 64 bit of 32 bit Computer?

Yes you can, unfortunately you can not upgrade from 32bit to 64bit, you would need to do a fresh installation. Also your processor and motherboard need to support 64-bit architecture. If you start the installation for the 64bit if the architecture isnt supported it would notify you that the installation can not be completed with an error message.
Enjoy your copy of Windows 7 64-bit if it works.
