When I plug this tv in, a red light blinks 2 times and stops, and blinks another two times and stops and keeps doing it over and over again....

You need to look up the codes for your TV.

These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can vet an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. this is what I've done to our tv, same problem so I solved it by doing ths : first turn on your tv then let it keep on blinking then directly unplug the tv don't turn off the tv . plug again the tv then you'll see that second red light is not blinking but still it still red light the first one, just unplug it again by not turning off the tv then while unplug click the on off button to off the tv the plug again the tv and turn it on. and finally the red light will turn to green it means the tv is now ok! yehey. sorry for my english I'm notgood speaking english :)

The light blinking twice means there is a fault within the system and it is a code to tell Panasonic where roughly the fault lies.
Go to Panasonic's web site and look for your set then input the fault code and hopefully they will tell you where the fault lies.

Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if missing replace the Power PCB part # 930B921002 3. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature, this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 4. Check for 3.2 volts DC at connector LE pin 3 and 4 on the Control PCB, if low suspect problems with the switches/buttons on the Control PCB part # 935D776001 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Keyboard is not locked and key inputs at connector LE pin 3 and 4 check good. Suspect the E2P PCB part # 934C121001 6. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnect the USB connector from the card reader to the front from the Chassis, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds replace the Card Reader part # 299P271010. 7. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnecting the USB connector from the Card Reader did not help. Remove connector FC from the FMT PCB and plug the unit in, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds with FC removed suspect a problem on the FMT PCB (part # 930B924002), if the LED keeps blinking with connector FC removed suspect a problem on the DM PCB (part # 934C116002). 8. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) On the DM PCB (part # 934C116002) check C81A2, C81A3, C81B3 and C81B4 (1000 UFD, 16V, 105C), if any are bad, replace all of them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V, 105C). The blinking red light at the the front of the television is the "Diagnostic STANDBY/TIMER LED".
This little red light will blink 2, 4, or 5 times and then stay off for three-seconds. And blink again for 2, 4, or 5 times. This cycle repeats. The most common diagnostic code is the 4-blink code.

When the red LED blinks 4-times, it means one of two possible causes:
1) +13V is not supplied on the A-board. Or, 2) IC502 is faulty.

It is best to take this television set to a repair facility and ask that the +13V power supply be repaired.
The copper tracks and integrated circuit pads are very thin and delicate on the KV-24FV12 circuit board, and will easily lift off of the circuit board, if the incorrect desoldering tool is used. Unless one has a good quality PACE vacuum desoldering unit, one should not attempt to repair the television.

I have the sames t.v you have to go in the back flip the power cord switch...then reboot the t.v.
