it is probably in the same area where you can edit your delivery details , pass word , phone number etc

A couple of thoughts here, firstly, you may be able to access the seller of the books via a PC or laptop, and download them again as they should have a record of the sale confirming your right to the books and you can then store them on the PC for transfer to whatever kit you get in the future. Secondly, (if it is the 4Gb version) there is not a lot of storage for any books built in but there is an SD card reader. Are your books on the SD card? SD card readers for PCs via a USB port are not expensive and easy to use, to check your card. If they are on your card then you have them regardless of what happens to your e-reader as the card can be used in other machines.
