How do i resolve the problem
Log onto amazon.com and click help. Then click on device support. in left column you'll see contact us. Click there and fill out info about problem. You can get answer emailed but I recommend the call back service. Usually doesn't take long and they will talk you through the problem. I notice a couple of people on the site have had problems with the updates.

Some publishers choose to opt-out of being able to read their book aloud. When you buy a book, right below the buy button (On the left hand side) it should tell you whether text to speech is enabled on the book

To transfer books from CD to your Kindle you will need to use a computer and connect your Kindle to that computer by USB then copy the books from the CD to the Kindle folder that you can find via Windows Explorer.

First reaction is to reset the tablet. Second check if you still can logon with your ID on the Kindel Store. Then try to buy a book. When the error keeps coming back goto the support page from Amazon with the link here:
