How do I activate an ipad linked to another appleID

Hey! sorry but you will need to enter that appleID password to reactive the iPad. If you still have the original receipt you can call apple and have them start the recovery process.

Go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and reset your id. You should have create security questions to answer. You had to use an email to create your id.

When the iPad was set, there was an Apple iTunes account connected to the iPad. Apple would not have activated the device. You should be able to get a message to the mail address that you connected to that account. Ask Apple to reset the password via their support. Go here:

Firstly, don't post your email addresses publicly. People don't need your email addresses in order to provide you with advice.

YLog into the "Find my iPhone" feature at iCloud.com You'll need to log in with your AppleID, then it will give you several options for locating your iPad.

Open Safari on the iPad and then visit https://appleid.apple.com and follow the on screen instructions. Start by clicking the reset your password link on the page.
