How do I activate the bypass auto start on Toshiba 2540c. Currently it suspends every job and I have to manually hit start.

Currently when I send a job to print on my Toshiba 2540C to the bypass feed I have to manually go to the copier and select the job then hit start. Every job that goes to the bypass automatically suspends. I read that this is the way the toshiba function but I also read that you can put a code at 08 that will allow you to make the bypass to auto start. However I tried all codes I found and none work. Can anyone let me know the code or a way to do this? Update: From a previous post I found online I did 08/658 but that did not work.

HOW DO I PRINT A BROCHURE

You can put special media on side bypass feed tray. Then select paper type/thickness. Choose the bypass tray and paper type when sending print job from your PC. Job status light will blink and you need to go to the copier to execute the print job for special paper.

There is a display message that comes up when you press the job status button that is flashing "Check the direction or the size of the paper on the bypass tray and press start", we are not trying...

try to format its HDD :
turn it off..
hold 0 and 8 while turning on the copier, when the machine comes ready key in 690 and hit start. It will then display "2 2", hit start again or enter . Wait for it to say "please reboot the machine", turn it off and back on. Hopefully this will work..
