Even though I reset my tablet,it is still missing my settings

Hi if u do a factory data reset it will delete it DONT FORGET TO BACK UP DATA .click on setting ICON u should find back up & reset .cheers

did you go under general settings and look at sound settings?

There is some corruption, I think a factory reset should do the trick.

my son charged mine with the car charger for higher voltage charge and its working fine now

Is it possible that you also changed the function of the lock switch?

Try going into settings and change the settings of the lock switch to mute/unmute then place the switch itself into the unmute position.


If that brings back the sound of the keys, then it's safe to change the lock settings back to lock rotation.

If that doesn't solve the issue then I would recommend you do a backup and then restore to factory settings using your computer and iTunes.
