I just bought my stacked washer dryer combo a few weeks ago and suddenly it's not working. The last load it ran never drained completely, there is probably 5 inches of water in the bottom. When I try to select a new cycle the lid locks and the washer beeps like its supposed too but nothing happens. Then after a few moments (maybe a minute) it gives up and unlocks the lid. Then does three beeps a few times. This is a top loading frigidaire washer/dryer stacked combo. The dryer still works fine. It's very odd. I have heard it may be the Lid Lock. But I don't want to spend the time and money replacing it if that's not it.
Hello Joshua, thank you for your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire laundry center is not starting and did not drain properly. It is possible that this could be a miscommunication within the laundry center and a reset may help clear that out for you. In order to reset your laundry center you would need to disconnect power from it for at least ten minutes. If that does not help your laundry center you may need to seek assistance from a professional technician for proper repairs. I hope this is helpful and if you should need further assistance please feel free to reconnect. -Matt

gabehart....sounds like belt is slipping. Replace it. The water pump is on a separate smaller motor so is not affected by the agitator/spin motor.

I worked on one last week which was completely dead. Some wires were cut. Took a few pics: Laundry Center repair

Hello trinileigh19 - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose.
Hello Mike Brady - From what you have described it seems like the dryer is experiencing a wiring failure or a communication error with the control board. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
