Good job, man! There is another choice to take, you can directly activate your windows permanently and you will not be troubled with this problem. Just get a genuine key from http://www.instructables.com/id/Step-by-Step-Upgrade-Process-From-Windows-7-to-Win/and you can get this done. What's more, the price is very low.

Try right clicking on the installation .exe and clicking Properties. There might be a tab that says Compatibility. Click that and choose XP or XP/SP2 from the list and press apply.
try running the install now..
Hope this helps

PS Here's the updater file for Videocam Suite too, which will be handy if you do manage to get it installed...

Just install the Software suite, disregard the message. it may be because the when the suite was released the current SP released was SP1 or 2, when you connect the camcorder make sure that the camcorder settings are set to PC connect (or whatever setting for a PC connection), make sure that the ac adapter is connected.
Hope it helps

I had my Panasonic video camera installed on Windows 7, using the supplied disc 'videoCam Suite 2.0'
Had a rebuild of PC and had to re-install all programmes, but this time using Windows 10, when I insert the disc, at first it says "install shield wizard preparing to install" , and then another window comes up which says, "This application does not support this operating system, Installation will be terminated."
Is there anyway I can install my video camera on Windows 10, so that I can download videos to my PC.
