How do you reset the computer system and remove warning lights on a kia picanto car.

Most auto parts stores provide a complementary service of getting a readout on any OBD II codes. Suggest you check if in your area any stores would provide you this service. The goal of the parts store would be to provide you with the parts necessary for the repair.

It is a quick process where they connect on the drivers side a code reader under the dash and read the codes. They will provide a printout showing the likely source of the errors.

Disconnecting the battery to reset codes is not recommended
.
Hope this helps?

Before you reset it you need to find out what set it. If you don't have a code scanner take it to Autozone, they will do it for free and give you printout of the fault codes.

Running rough

Could be a bad spark plug or coil pack. Also could be a bad fuel injector. Is you Check Engine light on? If so, you need to have the fault codes read to see what the problem is. Take it to Autozone, they will do it for free and give you a printout of the faults.

My printouts have a very dark haze over them.......the printed letter are fine but it looks like the print cartrige is dumping ink on my paper as it prints. It look like a bad fax copy. What is the...

Either you purchased a a bad quality remanufactured toner cartridge or your fuser film is damaged.

If there is some kind of debris in black color that is on printouts, your fuser film might be damaged. Have a printer technician replace it.

If there is no debris, only bad quality printouts, it's the toner cartridge that needs replacement.

No ink on paper with printout, alignment or clean cartridge.

paper is either upside down or you have a bad ccd or you have a bad main board

reset the machine... copy and then print

flip paper upside down and copy then print

check fuser if it is cold after print... if it is cold then bad fuser... if it is warm then bad main board or ccd

if you get printouts but no copies bad ccd

if you cann't get copies and no printouts after all these tests then bad printboard or main board
