There are a fews ways of accomplishing this.
It sounds like you may reversed your cable connections. Lets try these steps.
On the back of your cable box and your Go video VCR/DVD there are two coxial connections an (OUT) and an (IN):
Step 1. Connect the coxial cable from Comcast to the (IN) connection on the back of the cable box.
Step 2. Connect one end of a spare coxial cable to the (OUT) connection on the back of the cable box.
Step 3. Connect the other end to the (IN) connection on the back of your GO Video box..
Step 4. Connect one end of another spare coxial cable to the (OUT) connection on the back of your Go Video Box.
Step 5. Connect the other end of the Coxial cable to the back of your TV.
On the back of your converter box and TV/VCR there are two coxial connections an (OUT) and an (IN): Step 1. Connect the coxial cable from the antenna to the (IN) connection on the back of the converter box. Step 2. Connect one end of a spare coxial cable to the (OUT) connection on the back of the convert box. Step 3. Connect the other end of the Coxial cable to the back of your TV. Without the manual !! 1)VCR INPUT:: [Cable_antenna In] the coxial screws on from "output" of cable box or ( airwave )antenna. 2) VCR output:: connect another coxial into input of TV. You should be able to keep all the other wires connected from SONY theater system. note:: your VCR has a switch for VCR\TV. When u have a VHS tape playing a movie & switch from VCR to TV, you will see the channel that is on the VCR not the cable box\ antenna input. example:Cable channel is on Ch.122, & your TV must be set to Ch.3 to view cable. If your VCR is set to Ch/5 you may not see that Ch.122.You will still be able to see your VHS tape when u place the VCR\TV switch back to VCR. I am going to share wt.u a $100,000,000.00 trick:put any ch.on cable box.Switch VCR\TV to TV,change channel ON VHS tuner. When u come to the [picture] that the cable box is on,Then that is the Ch.u can see cable ON the VHS. U owe me!!
