Sony KDL-46XBR2 screen is black and no audio. Replaced the Power Supply board (G1) with no help or change
Power LED comes on, no other LEDs blinking or on
Blue streaks vertical and horizontal for a short period
No audio, TV then goes black but I can tell the back lights are on.
Turn power off, Power LED goes off but the faint backlight is still on as is the SONY Led name
Unplug TV, backlight goes off.
Plug TV back in, turn TV power on and it can now go into an on/off cycling in which you can here the click and see the Power LED go on and off. Backlight stays on.
During this on/off cycling, I can get the correct TV video for a matter of seconds, I can get the blue streaking, and it eventually goes back to an all blank screen.
Once while TV picture came in, I looked at the Diagnostic Test Indicator screen, it had LED 002: TEMP 002,
LED 009: Panel 002, and LED 103: WEM_WDT micro processors 255. But not sure if these are current self checks or back in time.
As I stated above, Power Supply Board was swapped out with no change.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.
Testimonial: "There is no board inside the XBR model called "Main". I've tried dozens of hard resets as my problem described, this is an electronic failure! Please don't ask me to contact a service technician, I'm in search of what board is most likely failing, please use Sony terms when describing what board may be bad."

You have a couple of problems if you are sure there are 2 different blink codes. 13 blinks indicates a backlight balancer error which would explain your no light condition. 14 blinks would be a TCON board error which is the driver board for the LCD screen. Either error would keep the screen black.
Well written question but I would first call Sony Customer service to see if known issue or if the data base shows any reports or recalls for this issue.......
7blinks is an error code for "Audio Error". This kind of symptoms is an indication of fault either on the KD board AKA Audio board or the G1 board (supply line for audio board).
You have to isolate the fault between the two boards by measuring the supply line for the audio board. If the supply voltage is intact this is an indication that you need to replaced the KD board. If there's no output voltage from G1 board feeding the KD board, then you have to replaced the G1 board.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

Nine blinks - Replace D 6116 and D 6301 on
the "G" board, do not resolder as this will fix the
problem temporary. Or Panel Module Error or Thermal Error. If it is
intermittent 9 blinks, meaning sometimes the TV comes on and other
times you get flashing, then change the switching regulator on the
"G" board or check connections.
This is a very common problems with LCD and Plasma tvs.The power supply board have dead leakagas capacitors. These dead capacitors they alway bulges up on it tops or puff up on it tops.U know basic electonic's and soldering take the tv aparts searches all around the power supply board, that the board where the power a/c cord conected to it.Replaced these dead leakages capacitors,ur tv will power up again and work.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
Check the transformers, and the capacitors.Zoom in the website picture of the board u going to buy,and ur power board. If these commponnents are the same vale's the board should have the same functions.
There is a error in TV.Count how many times blinking the red light.
Unit is dead, No blinks - Problem in the standby power section. Might check fuse, R607, Q601, IC601, R612 and VDR601 (should show open).
Continuous blink once a second, no pausing - No reply from the jungle IC301 (data bus is busy, shorted to ground, or held high), IK video path is defective.
One blink - not used for the self-diagnosis
Two blinks
- B+ over current protection (OCP), unit goes to the standby mode then
displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any
of the circuits.
Three blinks - B+
over voltage protection (OVP), unit goes to the standby mode then
displays the 3 blink fault. This is also a problem in the power supply
circuit, check T603 and R672.
Four blinks - No vertical Deflection (V STOP), Screen goes to a single horizontal line then the video signal muted. Check IC1509, Q1505
Five blinks
- AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks
for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function.
Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and
other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A
board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen
slightly.
Six blinks - No Horizontal
(H STOP), no raster, goes to the blinking self-diagnosis function
immediately. Check C515 & 516 and the jungle IC, IC206.
Seven blinks
- High voltage shutdown. The high voltage has exceeded 33k and the unit
goes immediately into safety shutdown. Check power supply regulation
and horizontal circuits.

blinks
- Problem with the audio (AUDIO), unit goes to standby and blinks the
self-diagnosis code. Check IC406 audio amp, PS401, and 402. On some
projection models of Sony TV sets, this code means that T8005 (flyback
transformer), or the associative components in the high voltage
circuits are defective on the D board.

-13 (negitive).
Ten blinks -
Check Q8014 and Q8013 for shorts, leakage, or bad solder connections on
the " D" board. If the transistors are bad, check R8051 and IC8005,
also on the "D" boards
