What is the operating system? if its an android, go to settings and then backup and reset

    Does the screen come on at all? does it charge when you plug the charging cable into it?

    The screen does come on,yes,it charges but I can't get in settings to do a reset!

    Ok, try this:
    Turn it off, and turn it back on again using the power button, but also whilst holding the power button, you also need to hold the home button and the increase volume button. keep hold of these buttons, this should take you into recovery mode.

    It can be a little tricky at first when attempting to get it into recovery mode, so try a few times if at first you don't succeed.

I bought a used aspen a 1046 and it was factory reset. When I try to set up the tablet it asks me for a pin from a previouse account. I don't know the pin and the person I bought it from doesn't remember...
Factory reset will return it to factory condition, without a pin.
Reset it again.

Tmax 9 tablet stuck on boot screen
  1. Shut off tablet
  2. press the volume minus button and the power button @ start up
  3. tmax logo shows up and then a android menu
  4. factory reset
  5. Once complete, reboot
  6. wait 4-5minute... tablet works again
