How to put in a headlight on a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer

Hello,
Please follow the stepwise solution carefully.
1.Open the hood and disconnect the truck's negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the grille. Unbolt and remove the plastic panel over the radiator, then use a flat screwdriver to release the clips securing the grille at the bottom to the headlight panel and lift the grill off.

3.
Pull up the retaining tabs for the headlight housing, which are on opposite ends, and carefully pull the housing out. Remove the park/turn signal bulb socket from the housing by detaching the holders and electrical connectors and disconnect the side marker socket.

4.
Take off the circular access cover from the rear of the headlight housing. Twist the bulb in a counterclockwise direction, withdraw the bulb with its electrical connector from the housing and disconnect the electrical connector.

5.
Hold the new bulb by the holder--do not touch the glass--as you connect the electrical connector. Place the bulb in the housing and twist it clockwise to lock it in place. Close the access cover.

6.
Install the headlight housing into the panel, connecting the electrical connectors, signal bulb socket and side marker socket. Push the retaining tabs in place.

7.Reinstall the grille and plastic radiator panel and reconnect the negative battery cable.

Problem solved.

Take care.

I HAVE A VIZIO 42' LCD TV WITH A 8' BLACK BAR RUNNING VERTICALY THROUGH THE SCREEN. COULD IT BE THE CONTROLER BOARD

You panel has a TCON (timing control) board which feeds the panel connector (1 or 2) inside the LCD panel, the picture information is then broken down inside the panel assembly via a connection board. You have 2 options: Replace the panel or toss out the TV. If you are going to toss out the TV, you may as well make a project out of it and attempt to fix it... what's the worst that can happen? You break it? It's already broken. So here's what I would do. Take the TV apart (photograph as you go if you are worried that you will forget what goes where). Remove the LCD panel and place it in a clean area. I would clear the kitchen table, cover the table with a soft blanket and then place a bed sheet on top of that to keep the dust and fuzzies to a minimum. Place the LCD on your work area and patiently and carefully take it apart. When you get to the connector board inside the panel, disconnect the panel connection directly above the black bar (should be a hinge style connector, a tab will flip upward to release the ribbon cable) and then reinstall the connector. You need to be careful here, these cables can tear if you get too forceful with them. After you reinstall the cable, go ahead and reassemble the panel and then the TV. If this doesn't fix it, you are back to option 1... replace the panel or the entire TV. Option 1 is more often the TV as the panel cost is close to or more than the TV. Here's an illustration I made for you to give you an idea of what the connection board is doing:
40fa02c.jpg
Then signal comes in on the red connector from the TCON then goes out to the panel on the yellow connectors. This is just an illustration, your TV may be a bit different, but the principle is the same. I hope this was helpful, best wishes.

Replace airbag on `92 honda accord

When an SRS cable reel assembly is removed and set aside during vehicle repairs, the cable reel may rotate inside the assembly so it is no longer centered. If the assembly is reinstalled with the reel off-center, the cable can break when the steering wheel is turned to full lock. The cable reel holding fixture locks the reel while the assembly is off the vehicle, keeping it centered for reinstallation.
CABLE REEL REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Follow the procedure in the appropriate service manual for disconnecting the battery, and removing the dashboard panels, steering column covers, airbag, and steering wheel.
^ Always install short connectors on the connectors for the driver's and passenger's (if so equipped) airbags.
^ Make sure the front wheels are pointed straight ahead before removing the steering wheel.
2. Verify that the cable reel is centered; the yellow gear tooth is lined up with the alignment mark on the cover. Install the cable reel holding fixture in the cable reel assembly as shown. Use a TORX T-10 wrench.
3. Disconnect the 6-P connector, then remove the cable reel assembly.
CABLE REEL INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Verify that the front wheels are still pointed straight ahead.
2. Reinstall the cable reel assembly, and reconnect the 6-P connector.
3. Remove the cable reel holding fixture.
4. Follow the service manual procedure for reinstallation of the steering wheel, airbag, steering column covers, and dashboard covers.
5. Verify SRS operation as described in the service manual. Road test the vehicle.
^ If the steering wheel spoke angle is not correct, change it by adjusting the tie rod ends. Do not remove and reposition the steering wheel.
