Problem with ASPI manager

I have an HP Black Bird 002 running on windows Vista Prem.
When ProPix starts up an "Application error: (17235) Unable to detect an ASPI manager" displays everytime I lauch the program. Driver update tools from Microsoft didn't solve my problem. I installed those drivers and then rebooted. They didn't have any effect. I am sure there is something else I can do that I haven't tried yet, but, unfortunely I don't know what else can be done. Plz Help

My broadcom wireless lan adapter for windows vista not detected in device manager and hp wireless assaistant not working.

You can run HP update to download and install drivers on your PC/Laptop, or run Microsoft update too.

Your HP PC came with a tool called Recovery Manager, Click the vista start menu and in the search bar type (Recovery Manager) without the parenthesis and it should display programs like RECOVERY DISC CREATION and RECOVERY MANAGER , please select the RECOVERY MANAGER an if you have VISTA USER ACCOUNT CONTROL turned on you will have to allow the program to run.
OK, once program launch, select the advance Options and click on HARDWARE DRIVER RE-INSTALLATION and click next. follow the screen instructions to re-install the driver or drivers.
Make sure you are not running any other program when using recovery manager.
GOOD LUCK

If the machine is a Dell with DellControlPoint, open start, run then type msconfig and hit enter. Choose the Startup tab and find the startup item named "Dell" with the Command from "C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Control Point\Connection Manager\Dell.UCM.exe" and uncheck the box. Hit Ok, then reboot your computer.
