hi Glenda, unplug the unit from it's power source, take out all the paper and leave it for about a hourplug it back in and try to run through setup again, it sounds like to me that your memory is either full, or got a "powersurge", like thunderstorm,power outage,etc if it starts acting up right off the bat then push the stop/reset button, you can either hold it down and count to ten, or push it quickly a couple of times, it should reset one of these ways, if it does remember which way in the event the power goes out again,clear the memory, and it should be alright, please let me know if this solved your problem, may god bless and happy 4th

Press function button then input 81 press copy/set select 1 for OFF, or 2 for ON or always print, 3 for INCOMPLETE only, to save the settings press copy/set button..

take the paper out of the tray, unplug the machine. while holding down the stop/exit button, plug it back in. good luck!
