How can i change my 220V jet pump into a 120V jetpump?

Why do you want to?

You have to change the motor to a 120v model, same frame.

Service wiring has to have a hot, neutral and a ground. You should already have three wires so that is not a problem, just have to move one of the 220 hot wires to neutral. That will give you one hot, one neutral and one ground wire to make your 120V circuit.

If you only have 120V service and a 220V pump motor you can purchase a step up transformer that will take 120V in and give you 220V out. You must know the power in watts or KVA of the motor in order to purchase the correct step up transformer.

A bit more information about your situation would help.

I have an F 02 error on my Kenmore elite. The

Accessing the Drain Pump on Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet Front Load Washers
  1. Safety first. Unplug the machine.
  2. Put a blanket over the top rear edge of the machine to cushion it and lean it against the wall.
  3. There are three screws located right at the bottom front edge of the machine securing the toe panel. Remove the screws and the toe panel will fall off.
  4. Open the door covering the wiring harness connector and disconnect the wiring harness from the terminals of the pump motor.
  5. Remove the screw securing the pump assembly to the frame of the machine.
  6. Remove the drain hose and tub outlet hose from the drain pump assembly.
  7. Put a small pan or bucket under the pump and turn the large knob counterclockwise to remove and clean the large item filter.
  8. Unscrew the drain pump from the pump housing and check the impeller for any obstruction or damage.
  9. Replace the drain pump if the impeller is damaged or if no obstruction is found in the drain hose, tub outlet hose, and the large item filter.
  10. Install the new drain pump in reverse of the removal steps above.

Unit not pumping on wash cycle

Could be bad main wash pump motor, bad capacitor on said motor, or broken or jamed pump impeller. You will need to remove the lower spray arm and filter assembly to get access to the pump impeller to see if it is jammed or broken. If you can turn the motor shaft but the motor just hums then the motor of motor start capacitor is gone. You can order the motor with start capacitor and impeller for around $130. Check for 120v at the motor terminals prior to replacing motor/pump assembly to confirm, 120v at motor would but motor not turning equals bad motor and or capacitor.

Dishwasher fills w/ water, does not wash, but does drain.

Joel, it's hard to tell whats going on here without the full model number. The number you posted should start with a 665, 363,587 or 464.  Here is a couple of things to look for.  It sounds like you have a seperate drain pump. Remove the bottom toe panel and hopefully there will be a tech sheet behind it.  Check the harness to the motor itself.  You want to verify that there is 120V going to it when the wash motor should be running. If you hear the motor humming and kicking out on the overload, then we can assume you have something stuck in the impeller or the motor is bad itself. The tech sheet will give you a diagram for the hot and nuetral.  Check the float switch inside the tub, it should move freely up and down. This is a safety device to insure the dishwasher does not overfill.  If this is a 665,  there will be a start capacitor on the left side of the wash motor.  If one of the wires came off the cap,  the motor won't run.  Regarding the door switches,  if you have 120V going to the motor during the wash cycle, you can assume the door switches are o.k.   Hope this gets you started in the right direction...Catriver.
