My washing machine says error code EOI FOG and now it won't unlock

The washing machine or washer dryer door has been detected as open or unlocked.
·Close the door!
·Check the door lock switch

The "LO" code appears when the washing machine has finished the selected wash cycle, but cannot unlock the door. Verify that the door is closed properly, push the "Off" button, and wait two minutes. The door should unlock and the error code will disappear. If the error code remains, unplug the washing machine, wait two minutes and plug it back into the electrical outlet.

A LD (Long Drain) error code means that (more or less), the drain pump is failing.

F06 code will indicate a drive motor tachometer error; means the control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down.

If a failure occurs during high-speed spin the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes. Potential Causes:
* Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU)
* Check the Drive Motor
* Check the MCU
* Check the Wire Harness

The machine, based on the error code, is made by Frigidaire for Kenmore. Error code E20 pertains to a slow or no drain problem which can be due to a clogged/kinked drain hose, blocked drain filter/coin trap, or a broken drain pump. DU = Door Unlock code

Washing machine displays error code F/DU after six attempts to unlock.
-Door lock assembly failed.
-Test door lock switch
-Visually inspect wire harness connection on CCU, Door lock assembly, replace door lock assembly.

The door lock assemble on this washing machine can be replaced from either the top of the front. The door boot can be removed or the top of the washer can be removed.

Turn the dial to off position wait few second, door should unlock. Unless you try to open it during cycle, it won't open. Otherwise, follow owner manual. call the manufacture.

This model is incorrect...You should be able to locate the model and serial inside the door on a sticker or a plate. If it isn`t there it will be on the back of the unit. however what you are most likely seeing is the error code F06 not FOG. This error code basically means that there is an error occuring while in the spin cycle. The motor control board may have a problem as well as the motor wiring harness. I would have it properly tested by a technician to ensure a proper diagnoses.Hope this helps
