Not an UNCOMMON complaint Rosemary Stein,

On the new machines "suds-sensors" control the "efficiency" of your machine...

If you check you OWNERS MANUAL I'm pretty sure

You need to run good grade "HE" detergent...

The reason being the "suds-sensors" will get messed up with BARGAIN detergents & become MORE IN-EFFICIENT.

Contemporary wisdom says "If you stop now and run some cleaner in your machine you can avoid costly serve charges".

Hope this helps!

How long is the wash cycle?

seems abnormally long as most full wash cycles ore only 60 minutes unless you include a soak section in the wash which will take longer
check for a deep rinse also adds time

My magtag 5000 series washer is flashing error code F21, It was in the middle of a wash cycle and now the door is locked and it won't open. How do I at least get the door open. I have unplugged the

Unplug the washer. Then plug it back in and press the button that turns it off. This should unlock the door. Same thing happened on mine and there was a kink in the drain hose. Once I unkinked the hose, unplugged it, plugged it back in, turned it off, then I was able to run a drain & spin cycle to get the water out of the load that was in the washer. I then ran a full wash cycle (they'd gotten stuck in the first drain & spin cycle of a wash) and everything seems to be fine now.

My bosch front loading washer on the small cycles will not spin the water out of the clothes..why?

Does it sound like the machine is spinning as fast as on longer cycles? Some machines run a slower spin speed on small cycles which can leave clothes wetter than normal. I've got this on mine and all I do is when the wash has finished I change over to the fast spin only program which then takes it to it's highest spin speed.

Top Loading whirlpool washing machine.

Could be the top lid switch. If the timer has stopped moving (you can no longer hear it clicking along) good chance that's what it is. When it has stopped try pushing hard down on the top of the lid AND/OR put a piece of plastic (or something ) into the lid latch switch... See if it continues on with the wash cycle...

Mine just went bad this week. Bought the part for $25...

Amana Top Load Washer model# LW3502W Washer leaks water somewhere between wash & rinse cycle best I can tell...drain hose checks out fine. At beginning of wash cycle the first minute or two of agitation...

Sounds like the water seal is damaged and the leaking water has damaged the top bearing which is just below the water seal. You will need to have the hub & seal kit replaced.

Aqualux 1200i

did you happen to solve the problem? I am having the same exact issue with mine...washes fine, but won't do the spin cycle. it spins counter clockwise really slow at first, presumably to balance the clothes, and then starts to spin up clockwise (to do the spin cycle) but then whinnies and then stops....!
